Ada the Country is a 2022 Nigeria theatrical musical play that centred on the pain, struggle, power and the endurance of an average Nigerian woman. The play was written by Titilope Sonuga, produced by Marian Ogaziechi and directed by Kemi Lala-Akindoju under the theatrical studio of Doyenne Circle Productions.[1][2][3][4][5] The play stars Nollywood actresses such as Patience Ozokwor, Joke Silva and Bikiya Graham Douglas.[3][6][7]

Synopsis

The play is about a young lady, Ada, who is a victim of fire accident. An incident that made her lose her property and her eight months old pregnancy.  At first, she was depressed but with the help of women across ages she was able to stand up and live the remaining part of her life.[2][5]

Live performance

The theatrical performance was held at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos from April 15 to 18, 2022.[2][5][6]
