==Early life, education, and career==
Clardy graduated from [[Minnesota State University, Mankato]] with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1982. In 1993 she became the program manager for Twin Cities [[Habitat for Humanity]]. Clardy then returned to school and graduated from the [[University of St. Thomas (Minnesota)|University of St. Thomas]]in 1996 with an elementary education teaching certificate. Since her graduation Clardy has been teaching elementary students at [[Saint Paul Public Schools]]. She went on to get her Masters in Education from [[Grand Canyon University]] in 2014.

In 2019 Clardy made her debut in local politics by running for [[Inver Grove Heights#Education|Independent School District 199]] school board. She won the race and served on the board from 2020 to 2023.

Mary Frances Clardy (born November 15, 1958) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represents District 53A in the southeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Early life, education, and career

Clardy graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1982. In 1993 she became the program manager for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Clardy then returned to school and graduated from the University of St. Thomasin 1996 with an elementary education teaching certificate.
