This is a test of my editing skills. Lives of Others is a movie that is set in East Germany about five years before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ben Smith was born on the 12th July 1986 in the Queen Elzabeth II hospital in Welwyn Garden City. He is a role model to many people and is dubbed as "a young marlin brando"

Hallgerdur Gisladottir

Hallgerdur Gisladottir was born in Norðfjörður, East Iceland, September 28th 1952. She studied anthropology and history at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg 1974-75, did B.A. in history from the University of Iceland in 1981 and cand. mag. 1991.

Hallgerdur worked at the Department of Ethnology in the National Museum of Iceland, became its Head of Department 1995 and later the Ethnological Collections Manager. She designed several exhibitions such as: What is cooking? The Icelandic Kitchen from the Settlement to Modern Times in 1987 and was co-designer of the new exhibitions of the renovated National Museum which opened 2004. She was chief editor of all the exhibition-texts, both traditional ones and interactive multimedia texts. With Sigrún Kristjánsdóttir she was editor and co-author of a book about Icelandic wedding traditions which was published in 2004.

Hallgerdur’s speciality was Icelandic food traditions and in 1999 she published a book on the subject, Icelandic Food Heritage (Íslensk matarhefð), for which she received the Scholarly Prices of both Hagthenkir, The Association of Non-fiction Writers and Association of Libraries and was also nominated for the Icelandic Literature Price. She also was a specialist in the icelandic man-made caves and was a co-author of a book on the matter, Man made caves in Iceland (Manngerðir hellar á Íslandi), published in 1991.

Hallgerdur made a series of television programs for the Icelandi TV both on traditional Icelandic food and cooking methods and on Icelandic Chrismas tratitions and has made uncounted programs for the Icelandic Radio on related subjects.

For many years Hallgerdur tought courses on traditional food and cooking in the history- and folklore departments in the University of Iceland, gave papers and lectures in Iceland and other countries and published many articles on her subject in both Icelandic and foreign journals.

Hallgerdur was a poet published single poems in various Icelandic journals and her book of poetry, Into the light, was published in 2004. Several lyrics has been translated and published in the German literary magasine Die Horen 2006.

Hallgerdur was the chairman of The Union of Icelandic Studies (FÍFK) 1999-2001 and the chairman of The Union of Museum Licentiates (FÍSOS) 1991-1993.

Her husband is Arni Hjartarson PhD in geology. They had three children Sigridur (1975-1997) Gudlaugur Jon (1979) and Eldjarn (1983).

Hallgerdur Gisladottir died on February 1st 2007, 54 years of age.

Scott Pingel

Scott Pingel, Principal Bass San Francisco Symphony

Scott Pingel began playing the double-bass at age 17 because of a strong interest in jazz, Latin, and classical music. In 2004, at age 29, he became the principal bass of the San Francisco Symphony. Previously, he served as principal bass of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, performed with the Metropolitan Opera, the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood, the Metamorphosen Chamber Orchestra, and served as guest principal with the National Arts Center Orchestra in Canada. Festival performances include Bellingham, Spoleto, Verbier, Tanglewood, Attergau/Salzburg, and in collaboration with David Finckel and Joseph Silverstein at Music at Menlo.

In addition to classical music, Mr. Pingel has worked with jazz greats such as Michael Brecker, Geoff Keezer and James Williams, performed with pop-icon Madonna, and played in an opening act for Tito Puente.

His formal education began with James Clute at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and after receiving a Bachelor of Music degree in 1996, continued under the private tutelage of Peter Lloyd. In 1997 he moved to New York to study with Timothy Cobb on a fellowship at the Manhattan School of Music and received a Master's Degree in Orchestral Performance in 1999 and a professional studies certificate in 2000. He then spent two years on a fellowship with the New World Symphony.

Outside of music, Mr. Pingel spent many years studying the ancient Korean martial art of Hwa Rang Do, in which he holds a black-belt. He was an instructor at the Madison Academy of Hwa Rang Do and founded the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Hwa Rang Do/Tae Soo Do program, which continues to this day.

Audrey Kitching, born July 26, 1985 is a model, hairdresser and "Scenequeen". Made e-famous as the now ex girlfriend of Travis Richter of From First To Last as well as Brendon Urie of Panic! TAE project

TAE project, (TAE always capitalized) is a name first seen on www.youtube.com, mistakenly perceived by people as haters of Hello! Project because they make images and videos that parodies hello! project members with rather weird approach like putting the face of a jpop idol over a cheetah's body, or making a mask for idols such as cabbages or a pack of cigarettes.

TRIVIA:
TAE is a Tagalog word which means excrement, it is very obvious from TAE project's logo, they have made parodies of Mini Moni, Yajima Maimi, W, Hitomi Yoshizawa, Tsuji Nozomi, Ai Kago etc. both images and videos. Apparently, it is very mysterious that TAE project has a lot of Hello! Project stuff in their official website which is very benificial to the people who hate them.

Trevor Kirkland

Born in 1958 in Mallusk to farming folk who hail from County Tyrone, he was educated at the local primary school. He attended the following schools - Ballyclare Secondary and Glengormley High. He removed to Newtownabbley College of Higher and Further Education. He entered the University of Ulster to study for a joint honours degree graduating in 1980 with a B.A Hons. He was elected for the DUP to Newtownabbley Borough Council in 1981 on the first count. As a conservative evangelical he was forcibly removed by the police for attempting to fillibuster proceedings following the death of the Rev. Robert Bradford. He stepped down from politics at the end of his term to concentrate on business having married in 1983. He was later ordained into the minsitry in April 27. 1990 to Templepatrick Baptist Chruch of which he was the founder. The congregation arose from a mission he held in the village of Templepatrick earlier. A passionate adherent to Calvinism, conservative worship and the AV, he was soon opposed by the Arminian and fuzzy minded of the congregation which resulted in a split. The congreagtion became known as Templepatrick Reformed Church in 2007 holding to the Westminster Directory of Worship with exclusive psalmody and the AV as the Bible text for worship. He was selected as the standard bearer for the DUP in South Antrim in 1996 to the N.I Forum (q.v.). Speaking on numerous issues his contrubtions are available on the Hasard of the Forum. A prolific reader all his life, he has contributed numerous articles to various publications appearing frequently in the English Churchman.
