Removed "upcoming events" section

I've removed this whole section, it was just a list of external links, per example below. People can google, or go to the main website, for the details, and the list of individual events don't add to understanding of the subject. - Aaron Brenneman (talk) 11:55, 24 February 2012 (UTC) | [http://toughmudder.com/events/texas-austin/ Texas] | [http://www.crosscreekcp.com Cross Creek Cycle Park] | January 29 & 30, 2011[reply]

COI editors

Both Matt Johnson and Ashley Pina appear to be connected with Tough Mudder. (See the TM about-us page. I have posted welcome messages to these contributors with COI guidance. Also, you can see the {{connected contributor}} templates posted above. – S. Rich (talk) 20:35, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Expanding article without COI

It looks like this article has expanded and contracted a few times, and as a result some legitimate notable info was being left out. I've just folded in a bunch of pages I staged in my userspace, and would appreciate feedback if anybody has complaints or concerns. -ParkerHiggins ( talk contribs ) 23:20, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising

This whole thing just reads like one long advert to do the TM. There's no mention of the fact they're being sued over the death of Gupta, or the increasing controversies over the running and management of the organization and individual events, though there's plenty of places where you can sign up to be a volunteer, etc. This article is incredibly biased, and with editors working on it connected to TM, I'm not surprised. Does this really meet Wikioedia standards???. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.150.184.186 (talkcontribs) 08:52, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - so much non-notable material 146.252.127.89 (talk) 17:08, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
