Matty Healy is now 27, as of April 8, 2016, and no longer 26. 90.170.237.199 (talk) 15:58, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- Already done the {{birth date and age}} template that is used in the infobox already does this automatically Cannolis (talk) 16:03, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Name
Please discuss the moving the page first and reach consensus. Also, the public is too generic. 'Matty' seems a knickname?Karst (talk) 20:08, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
Deletion
Hi.
I notice that Matthew Healy's Wikipedia page is being targeted for deletion. I deleted and altered so far, anything that copies The 1975's page. Can we reach a consensus to not delete this page once all reasons for deletion are fixed? Thanks. sheldon.andre (talk) 21:03, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
- Nope. this page is deleted — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.44.54.41 (talk) 20:24, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
- This was discussed here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew Healy. The consensus was to make the article a redirect to The 1975 for now. In the future, if there are substantial sources about Healy independent of the band, it can be reconsidered, but for now it seems premature. Grayfell (talk) 20:28, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
Healy's become are pretty controversial/talked about figure in his own right, especially since his article has been deleted. A lot of the most notable things about him, and the things that are frequently noted about him in the music press, apply to him and him exclusively. It seems ridiculous that one of the most famous young frontmen on the planet doesn't have his own article in 2016, especially considering the amount of controversy he's been caught up in over the past couple years and his publicised personal life. There's simply too much that's notable about him and him exclusively; all the relevant information wouldn't be able to be put under the band's page. 21:56, 18 October 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanrach (talk • contribs)
- As an editor who created most of the article, I believe that it should not be a Redirect, as their are reliable sources to support Healy from being notable independent from the band Wasabi, the, one (Talk Contributions) 00:51, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, so let's see some of these new sources. Remember that Wikipedia shouldn't be used for celebrity gossip, per WP:NOTGOSSIP, WP:BLP, and others. Grayfell (talk) 02:43, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
