But Exnihilox seems to have indicated they are satisfied with the outcome, and really the edit history, while it does have some strongly worded edit summaries, does not show much sign of disruptive back and forth. - To be clear, I am totally fine with the current document. The active version now reflect more 'a Rochdale of 2023' compared to the original 2011 document. Yes, indeed the exchanges have been rather 'strong' - and some comments might be just in the nature of this kind of digital debate. I take a lot of responsibility for this. Though on review many of the 'disputes' have been fully resolved and I especially appreciated the user 'PamD's' contribution and guidance - despite some contention. The document is far more robust, far better supported and easier to read than it was three days ago. As a newcomer to the Wikipedia community - I fully comprehend I might be perceived as an outsider - I fully grasp many editors have been engaged with this project for many years. It has been a good lesson for me and I hope to contribute more to the areas I have a background in - this was very much a learning experience. Regards and thanks... Indefinite pending changes: Persistent disruptive editing – Many users have added useful stuff with source in past, but due to edit wars over adding the caste of subject, it gets deteriorated. Hence the pending change protection should be applied to differentiate between useful and disruptive changes.
