The Old West's Infamous Train Robbers And Their Historic Heists describes Wilcox in 1899 as "little more than a trackside station and water stop manned by one or two railroad employees" and I could find no evidence that it was ever anything more than this. Newspaper and book coverage focuses almost entirely on a nearby train robbery and various railroad-related incidents that took place nearby, simply using Wilcox as a reference location. –dlthewave ☎ 17:41, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
