Template:Wikipedia languages is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit protected}} to notify an administrator to make the requested edit. Usually, any contributor may edit the template's documentation to add usage notes or categories.

Any contributor may edit the template's sandbox. Functionality of the template can be checked using test cases.

Hello, the Hindi Wikipedia (hiwiki) has over 158,000 content pages. Kindly consider adding it to the list of Wikipedia languages with 50,000+ pages. Thank you!

I looked into archive and main issue stated was that too many short articles on Hiwiki(in my search proportion of large article was more than small ones (even smaller ones were able to cover a desktop page)). After that I went to other languages (Korean, Bengali) wiki, there too I found small articles. If we don't represent languages how on earth will people write in those languages. Here we are talking about 400 Million native speakers. Writers of Hiwiki be given recognition they deserve for 158k article. Ankraj giri (talk) 20:38, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not familiar with the standards for inclusion here, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I see the regulars around here used to pull 50 article samples and report on whether they were stubs or not. I looked at 20 random hiwki articles and

1 was a full article
6 were stubs
13 were ultra-stubs
