Al-Zahrani, al-Zahrani or Alzahrani (Arabic: الزهراني) is a surname in Saudi Arabia belonging to the royal Zahran tribe.
The Zahran tribe is one of the oldest and largest Arab tribes. They dominated the world in the pre-Islamic times and even after Islam. They were the first Arab Kings over Iraq, Oman, Levant, Andalusia and Persia.
They’ve also helped Al Saud establish Saudi Arabia as they were a strong ally along with other tribes making Saudi Arabia the only Arab country that has never been colonized by any European power.
