In 1998, a rejected lewd storyboard for a episode of Rugrats was created which let to the mass firing of many animators.[1]
Plot
It starts with Angelica Pickles ordering Tommy to get her juice from the fridge as she sits on a bean bag.[2] Tommy, resentful mixes dog food and cleaning products into his sister's juice and brings it to her. However, Angelica's mother steps in before Tommy can give Angelica the spiked drink without knowing it was spiked saying that they couldn't have juice before dinner. [3]Suddenly, Tom's father appears and pushes Angelica's mom to the ground; screaming at Tommy and Angelica to pay respects to the alpha male of the house. [4] The father snatches the drink out of Tommy's hands and drinks it. [5] Tommy starts to have a panic attack from the stress of the moment while Angelica smiles psychotically clenches her hands while making strange noises with her mouth. [6]Angelica says, "Uncle, I never knew you were so strong." It ends with Tom's father saying, "Yes, you will always be daddy's little girl." [7]
Aftermath
When the storyboard was reviewed by Nickelodeon Studios, it was instantly rejected and everyone involved in the production of the material was fired; this also led to the end of storyboard jams. [8]
