Mahārāja Kam Dév Singh Misir Urf Karam Singh (b.1438-1532) was a Bhumihar Brahman king of the kaundilya gotra [1] and the ruler of the Pahargarh Estate, which mainly comprised what are now the cities of Morena, Gwalior, Jhansi, Shivpuri. Kam Dev was the son of Maharaja Jay Raj Dev Singh Misir who was the ruler of the Vijaypur Sikri estate (Fatehpur Sikri).
