: Hi, I know this seems big but it does use some simple elements so it won't so long. I was wondering if someone (it can be more than one user) can kindly please vectorize the flags and logos of the Albanian, Austrian, Brazilian, Canadian and Chilean Olympic Committees? Almost all of these are shown on the "Flags of the World" website and are found in the following links. Albanian National Olympic Committee https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/al@oly.html#for, Austrian Olympic Committee https://www.fotw.info/flags/at@oly.html, Brazilian Olympic Committee https://www.fotw.info/flags/br@oc.html, Canadian Olympic Committee https://www.fotw.info/flags/ca@coc.html and Croatian Olympic Committee https://www.fotw.info/flags/hr@oly.html. The exception is the Chilean Olympic Committee but that is just the logo (which is already on Commons) placed in the middle of the middle of a white background. This request is already big enough as it is so I won't spent too long explaining though the empty files help with what flags and logos need to be done and the links show what they look like. I an happy to provide further explanation if needed. This request is to celebrate the Olympic Games which starts today. Thanks in advance!--[[Special:Contributions/78.152.240.245|78.152.240.245]] ([[User talk:78.152.240.245|talk]]) 22:00, 24 July 2024 (UTC) |

@Snow Lion Fenian: Request taken. for design 3, despite SVG transformations being a pain in the ass. QuickQuokka [talk • contribs] 13:06, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Snow Lion Fenian: Done but I need author and copyright/licensing information before I upload. QuickQuokka [talk • contribs] 13:41, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

- @QuickQuokka: Thank you, and sorry for the delay in responding. Well, all three designs originate from BBC Derby. According to the original website, the designer of the original concept was Leon Summers, with BBC Derby modifying his submission to create what was known as "Design 3". Which is also exactly what BBC Derby did with Martin Enright's submission, modifying it to create "Design 1" (which was of course chosen as Derbyshire's flag). Hence, I'd recommend giving the new file the same CR tag as "Design 1". Hope this helps. Snow Lion Fenian (talk) 15:29, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Snow Lion Fenian: The description page of the file says it's released to the public domain by the author, and supposedly also the author (I don't really believe the uploader is the author), but there's no source to verify that unfortunately. QuickQuokka [talk • contribs] 16:25, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- @QuickQuokka: Good point, and profuse apologies for the excessively long delay in getting back to you. Well, I certainly don't pretend to be an expert on CR licenses on Wikipedia. The impression I've gotten is that the uploader wanted to waive their rights to the file, but went about it the wrong way, resulting in using a license that creates a slight bit of confusion. After considering it all, I'd now recommend giving the new file the "Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported", in order to cover the same bases while making it clear that the uploader is not the original designer. Hope this helps. Snow Lion Fenian (talk) 18:43, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

- @QuickQuokka: Oh yes, if you think you can correct the flower, then don't let me stop you. But no pressure if you can't. Snow Lion Fenian (talk) 14:34, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

- Could someone please modify the above-left file representing the flag of the Governor of Anguilla, so that the shield in the centre looks the way it does in this depiction here? The shield from the above-right flag of Anguilla could be used as a template for the change (albeit with the same kind of gold border used on the shield in the current version of the file). Thanks. - This is a cobbled together coat of arms from various SVG elements. Everything is correct and in the right place(ish), it could just do with a tidy-up by someone more proficient than I am, especially with regards the text along the bottom. The blue cross in the centre ought really be a bit wider and the fleur de lis wider and larger as a result to maintain proportions. If anyone is able to clean it up, I'd be hugely grateful. - So I would like to request that someone do a redraw of the emblem and the flag as a whole (though i can do the latter myself if needed), I don't know why whoever uploaded this marked it as copywritten when if it is it's gone out of copyright since then (party was founded 77 years ago, Korean copyright law dictates "70 years from publication (anonymous or pseudonymous work)")

- Hi, I would like if someone can kindly please vectorize the flag of Hartford County, Maryland by taking the coat of arms of Hartford County from the seal and using that as a basis for the vector flag? I also ask that the coat of arms (consisting of the crest, the shield and the motto) is uploaded as a separate file so it can be displayed alongside the flag and seal in the same style as the pages of other places in Maryland such as Montgomery County and Gaithersburg. This flag and coat of arms was chosen by me to get posted here as today (4 July) is US Independence Day. Thanks in advance! Happy 4th of July to everyone reading this from the United States of America!!!--109.76.230.180 (talk) 21:50, 4 July 2024 (UTC)

- I am requesting a change to the flag displayed for the Republic of Formosa on its Wikipedia page. The current flag is not historically accurate. I propose replacing it with a more accurate version of the flag used during the existence of thr Republic of Formosa in 1895. Implementing this change will enhance the historical accuracy of the article and provide readers with a correct representation of the Republic of Formosa's flag.
