Hendrick Jacobszoon Lucifer, 1583-1659, was a Dutch-born pirate and brute.
Lucifer
His last name, lucifer, referred not to a lighting stick, but to the devil itself. It was probably just a nickname. He often used fire and smoke to suprise enemy's, and this might be the reason of origin on this nickname.
