"The Hard Part"

"The Hard Part" is the twenty-first episode in the NBC drama series Heroes.[1] It is the first episode of the three-part finale for season one.[2] The title is a reference to Hiro's last line of the previous episode, "Now the hard part."

Plot

Template:Spoiler The main characters gather in New York, but not all of the heroes will survive.[2] In one of the side stories, Sylar will visit his mother Virginia Gray (Ellen Greene) and his backstory and home life will be revealed. Nathan Petrelli's wheelchair-bound wife, Heidi Petrelli (Rena Sofer), is also scheduled to make an appearance. Molly Walker is reintroduced, and Thompson reveals that she is the only one who can truly defeat Sylar. As of yet, her power according to sneak previews is the ability to track and sense other Heroes. It is called "The Walker System."

In a preview, Jessica finds out Linderman has been "tracking" her and her family for a long time. Hiro meets Sylar and prepares for a fight to the death.
