Siliconera says they are pulling from all 3 RPGs to make a game unique to North America. Whether it is just a remake of 1 with missions and techniques from 2 and 3 or not, not enough info. If this game really does come out in Fall of this year, I expect it to be a remake of 1, as the series will only be in the 110's and Chidori vs. Rasengan would spoil too much. But IGN dates are sometimes incorrect ryne11 12:40, 31 May 2007

US Release?

Does anybody know if this game will be released in the US? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.83.177.152 (talk) 20:48, 2 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

According to the new edition of Shonen Jump, it should be released this fall.70.83.177.152 00:07, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Your Friendly Neighbourhood Naruto[reply]

More sources to confirm this.

Should the article be moved then? // DecaimientoPoético 00:42, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is not coming to America. If you read every article on this game from the English gaming media, including the ones in the links above, you'll notice that it specifically says there are a total of 6 playable characters. The fact is that this game has MUCH more than 6 playable characters. Considering they're promoting new content for Path of the Ninja, I have a hard time believing they actually mean they're removing 2/3 of the characters.

It's much more likely that Path of the Ninja is a DS-remake of Naruto RPG: Uketsugareshi Hi no Ishi, which was originally released for the GBA. It has 6 characters and 1 secret character. Sima Yi 05:19, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This game will most likely be RPG 2 or 3. We're a bit too far ahead of the first RPG game for there to be a purpose in bringing it to the states, and the images in Shonen Jump magazine do look a lot like RPG 2 (well, I've only seen one picture of the Japanese version so I'm basing it off that). // DecaimientoPoético 11:50, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ign.com says its out in Fall 2007

Poetic, you completely ignored my point. I'll say it again. All of your sources confirm 6 playable characters. Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan has 20 characters. Are you honestly trying to tell me that D3 is publishing Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan and removing 14 characters? That doesn't make sense. What you people are doing now is called wishful thinking. I'd love it if Path of the Ninja was Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan, but there's no evidence to suggest that. None. The only evidence we have now are various internet articles. Those articles (and screenshots) suggest that Path of the Ninja is a remake of Naruto RPG: Uketsugareshi Hi no Ishi.
