• Due to my recent RFA, which passed 58/1/1, I am now an administrator. This means that I edit as I used to, however I have some more tools which allow me to protect and semi-protect pages, delete pages, block users, and have access to some more pages. I can also undo all of these actions. Hillsong

Carried Away

I want the opinion of a more experienced editor on this one, and I've dug through the WP: pages, but have turned up nothing: When an article says that God did something, such as answered a prayer, caused a church to grow, name your kid something, etc. is this encyclopedic? the article I'm looking at is Carried Away. Now, I'm working on citing this article as well, and I know my sources will say that the band believed God gave them such a name, but does this mean it belongs in wikipedi? This is not the first instance I've come accross of this.RichieRich 03:16, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I think in this case, the best thing to do is add the source that says the girls believe that God led them to name their band Carried Away. After all, if they have said this, then it can be well sourced- where id we said "God did lead them to name their band" then it can't really- whereas they and I might believe it, as humans we have no definite proof! So yes, in answering your question I think the best thing to do would be to add a source saying something like "they believe that God led them to name their band", as this is probably the only statement we can support with proof.

You're welcome- they really are good! I'm Melbourne based, but hang around the Metung/Lakes Entrance area whenever I can! The Hereford picture is good too (I just spent a week hanging around with Hereford and Charolais bulls, so I thought it was fitting when an IP user added it to my talk page!)

During the month of May, Black Lab, Just Like Heaven (song) and Pearl Jam were promoted to good article status. Romney Sheep article

Hi Cattle Girl, how is your winter going? (Summer for us). The Romnmey sheep article seems to have weathered a month without taking much punishment from new editors than you and me. What do I do if a banned user e-mails me about Wikipedia?

I recently recieved a letter from an infinitely banned user and in the letter, he requests that I give it to a "sysop". Should I disclose its contents privately, publicly, or simply ignore them? - 2-16 16:59, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

If you'd like, you can forward the email to me and I'll see what I can do about it- but if it's an indefinitely banned user it's unlikely that he/she will be unblocked, so I can't promise anything.
