Jacob "Jake" Ryan is a fictional character from the Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana. He is played by Cody Linley.

Character Description

Jake Ryan is the star of the television show Zombie High, who begins to attend Seaview Middle School. He is a total hunk and was voted "hottie" of the year. His signature line is: "Dude, I slayed you once! Don't make me slay you again." Miley is at first resentful of him because of the perks he is given for being a celebrity, but then the two discover that they are both in love with each other. Jake eventually admits he gets sick of all the attention, and sometimes wants to "turn the whole movie star thing off" and be a regular kid,(he said this in a conversation with Hannah Montana). When he eventually does, Miley realizes her feelings for him. Lilly has always been obsessed with him, as with most of the other girls in school. He has a girlfriend later on, in the episode "Good Golly, Miss Dolly," named Rachel who makes Miley really jealous. In the episode "People Who Use People," Jake tries to make Miley jealous and hangs out with an actress named Holly. After this, Jake and Miley become a couple, but then he has to go to Romania to film a movie, for four months. He will be returning for the second season in the episode "My Achey Jakey Heart", where he fights for Miley's attention. It was confirmed by Miley Cyrus in an interview with Popstar! Magazine during the filming of the Disney Channel Games. In a new commerical for new episodes it shows Jake telling reporters on live television he's in love with a girl named Miley Stewart while Robbie, Miley, and Lilly are watching it and from Miley's reaction, she loves him back.

• Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) The protagonist of the show. She first thinks that he is arrogant and vain, but in the end, she realizes how much he likes her, and she begins to have a crush on him. Finally, they end up sharing a kiss, and are boyfriend and girlfriend, but Jake has to leave to shoot a movie in Romania that night, but will be back in 4 months. When he's back (Ackey Jakey Heart), Miley broke his heart by dating another guy although Miley was taken.

• Rachel (Summer Bishil) Jake's first girlfriend at Miley's school.

• Holly (Josie Lopez) Jake's co-star, who he pretends to be dating so he can make Miley jealous in the episode "People Who Use People."

• Lilly Truscott (Emily Osment) In the episode, More Than a Zombie to Me , Miley turns Jake down so he asks Lilly to the school dance.

• Oliver Oken (Mitchel Musso) Would always depend on Jake to turn girls down to have the girls cry on his shoulder. Also introduces him in a 70's Dance.

• Amber and Ashley (Shanica Knowles & Anna Maria Perez de Tagle) Two more girls who are crushing on Jake because he is a celebrity.
