Sissi, in a way typical of snooty popular girls, has a superiority complex and considers herself to be the prettiest girl at Kadic (she says so directly several times over the course of the series); she has a dressing table (complete with stage mirror) and lots of cosmetics in her room to compliment this, though her perfume choice has been once referred to by Odd as "cheap" as heard in "Image Problem". She also has won several beauty contests as well. This leads to tension between them. She was also jealous of Emily for a short while in the episode "Routine", though she does appear to retain her jealousy after the return trip takes place. Her attitude is toned down considerably in the second season, she still wants to know about Lyoko, and she treats Odd with respect occasionally. Undoubtedly snobbish, snotty, prissy, stuck-up and spoiled (not to mention a control freak, as heard in "Teddygozilla" when she silences the crowd in the auditorium after Ulrich orders everyone to evacuate the area), during the first season, she only rarely showed a more empathic side, acting more like the classic snobby superficial teenage girl than anything else. She also is a bit of a perfectionist, constantly reminding people that she is beautiful, though characters such as Ulrich disagree. Her empathic side usually came out in tense situations but when it did, it showed that she really did have a heart. It especially came out when she was trapped in a room with others. Examples of this are seen in "The Trap" and "Claustrophobia", and to an extent in "Log Book". In the episode "Holiday in the Fog", she admits to Jim that all she wants is to be accepted by Jeremie and the others (this actually happened for a short time in the episode "Ultimatum," when her father was possessed by Xana, and in "Contact" where she herself was possessed by Franz Hopper). This could imply that she suffers from self-created social rejection. Her spoiledness and superiority complex proves to be an obstacle, however, as shown in various episodes. She also has developed a bad reputation among her fellow students at Kadic for being a bully, controller, and an all-around spoiled brat. This bad reputation has also caused Ulrich to ultimately dislike Sissi; however, his dislike for her goes as far back as elementary school, as hinted by Sissi herself in "Marabounta". She mentions this to William when they are at the community pool during what appears to be an off-campus swimming class for physical education. It can also be interpreted that Sissi also suffers from emotional insecurity, likely resulting in her becoming Kadic Junior High's resident snob; this is likely brought on by her father busying himself with work and hardly spending time with her.

During the second season, despite these unfortunate shortcomings, Sissi has softened considerably, and she and the group have been exceptionally civil towards each other; almost friends. Like Jim, Sissi is very suspicious of the group, although she doesn't become as obsessed with this suspicion like he did. She truthfully uses this suspicion to find out the secret, by surreptitiously following them. She, too, has also seen the factory on three occasions, all of which were undone by return trips to erase her memory. She even ended up dating Odd over the Internet in the episode "Déjà Vu", though neither of them were aware of the other's identity. Odd ended up finding out, but Sissi was left in the dark. She seems to be fighting with him a lot less now, however, and vice-versa. She remembers that, though.

Elisabeth Delmas, or Sissi Delmas, is a character from the French animated television series Code Lyoko. Christine Flowers provided Sissi's voice in the first four episodes. Jodi Forrest provides her voice in the episodes after. In the Spanish version of Code Lyoko, she is voiced by Gabriela "Gaby" Ugarte for the first two seasons.

Description

Elisabeth is the only daughter of Jean-Pierre Delmas, who is the principal of Kadic Junior High School. She is 13 years old, in grade 9, 5.33' tall, and weighs 110.2 pounds. She prefers to go by nickname Sissi, as she doesn't like her real name. She is currently in the 9th grade (as of "Final Mix" and onwards), though she and the other characters appeared to be in the 7th grade in Xana Awakens (as Hiroki, Milly, and Tamiya are nowhere to be seen).

She mostly wears an attachable dark red skirt (seen detached in "Tip-Top Shape", revealing that underneath, she wears a belt around her pants) over darker red pants (that appear purple in some episodes), and a pink, puffy-sleeved crop top shirt with a heart on it that exposes her midriff. She also wears platform shoes which make her taller and a yellow headband around her head. Even without the headband on, Sissi appears to have a widow's peak hairline. She also wears gold, loop-shaped earrings. She has other clothes that she considers to be "in" clothes, as hinted by Tamiya in the episode "Big Bug". She also wears pink pajamas with white lace on the legs and silk sleeves. During the dance in "Teddygozilla", she wears a less-formal outfit. Her hair was also longer, and styled into curls and ringlets. She also has several fur clothes in her closet that we see, but she almost never wears. For PE class and Silat practice with Ulrich, she wears her gym clothes most of the time. She has black hair that occasionally increases and/or decreases itself in length during several episodic scenes.

In the prequel to the show, Xana Awakens, Sissi initially goes to the factory (with Odd) on his first trip there, but when Xana attacked her for the first time, she becomes concerned and worried for her friends' safety, and tells Jim and her father about the factory and the threat that Xana poses to the safety of Earth. After her father orders Jeremie and the others to have the supercomputer shut down, Jeremie activates their first Return Trip, making it so Sissi had never gone to the factory in the first place. As she had never entered Lyoko, the Return Trip erased all her memories of the visit, and their rejection is what caused her to be mean around the group ever since.

Being the principal's daughter grants Sissi something akin to a free reign at Kadic, since she can convince her father to let her and other people get away with things that they normally wouldn't, though there are a few exceptions, such as the cell phone protest in "Satellite". The group has often had to rely on her as either a distraction or a tool of manipulation over the principal.

She harbors unrequited love for Ulrich (he consistently rejects her due to her bratty attitude and snooty demeanor, but she sees it as him playing hard-to-get) and is jealous of Yumi (whom Ulrich is attracted to), which makes Yumi her rival for Ulrich's affection. She has been referred to as a "braindead and a leech, as well" by Ulrich, which is a clear indication that he has never liked her. This is heard in the OVA for Code Lyoko entitled Xana Awakens.

Undoubtedly snobbish, and spoiled (not to mention a control freak, as heard in "Teddygozilla" when she silences the crowd in the auditorium after Ulrich orders everyone to evacuate the area), during the first season, she only rarely showed a more empathic side, acting more like the classic snobby superficial teenage girl than anything else.

Sissi is an aspiring actress, and makes an appearance in nearly every television or movie-themed episode. She is usually in one of Odd's various movies or music videos. In the episode "End of Take", she manages to get a part in the movie being made by James Finson in return for getting the principal to excuse Ulrich from classes. She only has one line and twenty seconds on film, though, since Finson doesn't take her seriously. In "Code: Earth", she is one of many background faces in Odd's music video Break Break Break Dance. Finally, in "Contact", Sissi appears in Odd's latest film, Natural Grandeur, as a giantess.

In William Returns, she is the head writer for the school paper while Milly and Tamiya are her subordinates. Eventually, her so-called "methods" of making a newspaper eventually drive the two sweeties into quitting being reporters altogether after finally being fed up with her bossy attitude.
