Bratz (also known as Bratz: The Movie) is a forthcoming live-action feature film based on the popular Bratz fashion doll line by MGA Entertainment. It's scheduled for release on August 3, 2007.

Plot

The story of four teenage girls, ready to grow apart because at their new high school, the nasty head girl Meredith says they have to be in a clique to survive. When the girls Yasmin, Cloe, Jade, and Sasha end up fighting between their groups, they decide to make their own group - the Bratz - to overrule Meredith and to show everybody they have the right to be anyone they want. The Bratz also try to win the talent show.

Development

  • The film was announced on May 15 2006, when MGA Entertainment, Avi Arad Productions, and Crystal Sky Pictures teamed up to bring the Bratz dolls to the big screen. Under the deal, Crystal Sky Pictures will finance the film, Avi Arad and MGA will executive produce. John Doolittle and Susie Singer Carter penned the screenplay. [1] [2]
