Bedlocker!
How does the Bedlocker work? The Bedlocker is powered by an electric motor in the canister that opens and closes the cover along rails fastened to the truck bed via a remote control.
What is the Bedlocker made of? The Bedlocker is manufactured out of heavy gauge extruded aluminum panels with a black textured powder coat finish for increased strength and durability that are fastened together with a patented silicone hinge seal.
Is the cover hard to install? How long will installation take? The installation of the Bedlocker is relatively easy. The most time consuming part of the installation is the running of the wire harness down the frame rail of the truck. As for the electrical part you will just be connecting the positive (red) wire and the negative (black) wire directly to the battery. Installation should take under 1 hour for the professional and 1½-2 hours for a first time installer. See the installation instructions here.
How does the Bedlocker lock? The Bedlockers electromagnetic brake system locks the cover automatically in any position.
Full Metal JackRabbit!
How does the Full-Metal JackRabbit work? The Full-Metal JackRabbit cover slides along rails mounted to the sides of the truck bed into a canister at the front of the truck bed. The Full-Metal JackRabbit blanket rolls around a reel inside the canister with the help of a coil spring which maintains tension on the cover at all times making it easy to open. The canister measures 9.6” wide by 9.66” high.
What is the Full-Metal JackRabbit “blanket” made of? The Full-Metal JackRabbit is manufactured out of heavy gauge extruded aluminum panels with a black textured powder coat finish for increased strength and durability that are fastened together with a patented silicone hinge seal.
Is the cover hard to install? How long will installation take? Installation is easy. All parts are an exact match to your truck – no cutting necessary! JackRabbit covers are installed with our patented SpeedClamp™ system on most applications. Installation should take 15 minutes for the professional and under 30 minutes for a first time installer. See the installation instructions here.
How does the Full-Metal JackRabbit lock? The Full-Metal JackRabbit locks with a key Offset to the driver’s side near the tailgate. The key turns arms that lock into the side rails mounted on the sides of the truck bed. The Full-Metal JackRabbit can be locked in place at 12 inch intervals along the truck bed.

The JackRabbit blanket rolls around a reel inside the canister with the help of a coil spring which maintains tension on the cover at all times making it easy to open. The canister measures 9.75” wide by 11” high.
What is the JackRabbit “blanket” made of? The JackRabbit blanket consists of interlocking aluminum panels bonded to a polymer composite material. This special blend of textured polymer material will provide a long life while maintaining flexibility at sub-freezing temperatures.

BedLocker®, Full Metal JackRabbit™ & JackRabbit™
Will the cover keep the truck bed dry? What about ice and snow? Our tonneau's are designed so that water collected on the top is carried to the canister. Drain tubes located at the base of the canister then take the water outside the truck, to help keep your truck bed dry. Water cannot pass through the silicone hinge sealed top, however water may intrude into the bed via components that are not part of the cover such as the tailgate, stake pockets, etc. These components require proper sealing during installation. We do not claim that our covers are 100% waterproof. Be very cautious if a manufacturer says that their retractable cover is 100% waterproof.
Snow should be swept off of the cover with a broom before operating the cover otherwise you will end up with the snow in the truck bed and the canister box. Ice can be removed by taking your hand and smacking the cover as close to the middle as possible this will cause a vibration in the cover that breaks up the ice making it easy to remove. Do not use anything but your hand for this.
Will the cover improve my gas mileage? How? Your gas mileage should improve between 7% and 10% on the highway, with the cover closed on the bed (except when towing). A university study shows substantial gas mileage improvement whenever the box of a pickup is covered. See the press release information on gas mileage savings here. Input from customers and our own experience bear out the accuracy of this claim.
Will the cover work with my bedliner? The rails on our cover are designed to fasten directly on the sill of the truck bed. If you have a bedliner that covers the sill, modification will be required. Most under-the-rail bedliners are more easily fitted with our cover, but may also require modification near the front corners. See Bedliner modification sheet here.
Is there a warranty on Pace Edwards retractable tonneaus? Yes, there is a three-year factory defect warranty on all parts

Simon
Indie band from the Netherlands famous for never playing live or putting their music on records, cd's, tapes, mp3 etc. Simon is the first band that offers its fans the ultimate freedom to admire and interpret their music. Simon stands in the tradition of all the great artists that could have been.
Simon started in september 2006 in The Hague with a bass, guitar, mp3-player, horn and a yellow mercedes slk. After the expectations mounted it was decided to cancel all concerts. The beautiful feelings and good vibes of expectation should be cherished. In times of plenty, vivid colors and 100 images per minute, that what could have been is often overlooked. Simon offers its listeners the sensation a child feels when dreaming of playing with a piece of wood that could easily be transformed in an airplane if desired.
The Dinah Project
The Dinah Project is an online healthy sexuality resource. The project is based in the UK and turns to the community of women and their partners around the globe.
The principal on which The Dinah Project was established is a conceptualization of adult sex education that places sexuality skills in the context of sexual safety, gender equity and general wellbeing.
The project was originally founded in 2004 by sex educator and women’s health researcher, Beverley Damelin, as a way to provide community based adult sex education through group discussions.
In March 2007 the website was launched to enable universal access. It produces articles, reviews and advice by a range of healthcare professionals, but is designed to allow community discussion and input, according to the principle of integration of cumulative experience used in group facilitation.
Recent campaigns include an environmental protection initiative (under the banner “We Play Green”) and information actions against female genital mutilation and cutting.

Kirk's Girl
Kirk's Girl is a kind descriprion of a particular type and personality of woman. It commonly refers to a woman of at least 5'10" stature and having a breast size of at least a 34C, though at least 36DD is preferable. This type of lady will most commonly be larger than average but within reasonablt limits. While a Kirk's Girl will be of greater stature than average she will not consititute stature consisting of or nearing obese. Rather, Kirk's Girl refers to a naturally occuring woman of larger stature who still will maintain good personal health. It is assumed that a Kirk's Girl will constitute a backside of larger than average but not neccesarily overwhelming. It is not neccesary to have a considerable back side to qualify as a Kirk's Girl but is commonly assumed that most, having a stature of greater than 5'10" and a bossom of at least 34C, will most likely also posses a considerable back side. In fact, in order to qualify as a genuine Kirk's Girl, it may indeed be necessary to posses a considerable back side as the laws of nature seem to predicate this distinction. In short, a Kirk's Girl will consititute the modern day reincarnation of what was historically known as an Amazon. Though, to be perfectly and historically accurate, a Kirk's Girl will differ from an Amazon in that a Kirk's Girl will posses both sides of her naturally (or un-naturally) occuring breasts rather than eliminating one or both sides, as the Amazons were known to do. The reason for this should be self evident as the fine of art of archery, of which the Amazons were well known, are no longer relevant in today's society. They are certainly of no use in being a Kirk's Girl and may, in fact, be cause for disqualification from the title of Kirk's Girl.
The personality of a Kirk's Girl is of great importance, though never as important as that of stature. A Kirk's Girl will have a personality that lends itself to a pleasing and outgoing personality. It will posses qualities that are particularly capable of interacting with those who would otherwise be called Kirk's Friends. Though it should be stated that while this may be the ideal it may not actually result in reality. In fact, it was once known that a landlord of the one whom which the name is taken was once told that the only rule of the house was to avoid bringing home such persons as who would otherwise be considered as extensive, overly large, obese, or otherwise commonly refered to as Orca. It may, at times, seem as though a Kirks Girl posses's these traits but it is up to those previously refered to as Kirk's Friends to accertain the exact position of this specimen. It should be known as immanently clear that it is soley the responsibility of a Kirk's Friend to bequeath the title of Kirk's Girl as anyone who would otherwise be known as a "Kirk" would not have the requisit objectivity to asign such a title. It is therefor understood that anyone who may (or may not have) had biblical relations with a "Kirk" will only be refered to as a "Kirk's Unfortunate Conquest" until such time as Kirk's Friends can come to a common consensus on whether or not the KUC (Kirk's Unfortunate Conquest) may be considered a Kirk's Girl. While the stature of a Kirk's Girl and a KUC will be identical, the personality of each can vary greatly.
While many have speculated it is still unclear if the source of what is known as "Kirk's Girl" may in fact be rooted in that of an Oedipus complex. While this is one theory that has, on occasion, been put forth it may be regarded as largly inaccurate. Rather, the etymology of "Kirk's Girl" has more to do with the general stature of the type of women that others generically known as "Kirk" will gravitate to. In short, "Kirk's Girl" is nothing more than a politically correct means of describing the rather large nature of certain women. Women who happen to be the object of attention from certain predilections of men who follow the tendencies of the etymological first man who's name happened to be "Kirk". Therefor, a Kirk's Girl is nothing more than a woman who's stature is larger than average but not exceeding towards obese and yet posses what is otherwise commonly known as "a good personality".

Jutkendo
Jutkendo is the terror that flaps in the night. A former member of many messaging boards, the Mighty Jutkendo has terrorized the overbearing and self righteous mods of the world. Some would consider his methods trolling, while the down trodden masses consider him a savior. His wry humor and wide ranging wit have made him a thorn in the side of message board mods the world over. He is a legend, at least in his own mind. Though he is retired from active trolling, he always lurks in the shadows, always waiting for the time to strike at the heels of ego inflated mods who ply thier petty powers to restrict free speech. He founded the C.O.U.P. The Confederation of Un-Moderated Posters which boasts a shadow membership of hundreds of thousands of followers, though they are a secret organization in terms of their identities, they are everywhere and growing in numbers. Thier goals are simple. To protect free speech, to humble facist mods and create insurrection in places where mods are out of control.
All Hail the mighty Jutkendo and his many many alternate names.
Do not wake the sleeping dragon.
David Michalek
David Michalek is an artist who takes the concept and techniques of portraiture as the starting points for the creation of compelling works, on both a large and small-scale, in a range of mediums. His focus over the past ten years has been closely tied to his interest in relational aesthetics—specifically using performative and interactive techniques—storytelling, dialogue, movement—relying on the input and responses of others—subjects, collaborators and audience—as integral to both the creation and the experience of art. He has been drawn in particular to projects that bring together diverse groups of people in settings ranging from galleries to public spaces, churches and community organizations to health-care facilities. His 14 Stations is one such project, created in collaboration with men and women transitioning out of homelessness, participating in the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. 14 Stations is modeled on the traditional Christian devotional rite, The Stations of the Cross, with a different man or woman assuming the role of the Christ figure in each. Group interaction, discussion, and communal meals were all part of the process. Michalek's riveting, oversized black-and-white photos, mounted on back-lit displays have not only been exhibited in galleries and museums, but have served as the catalyst for interactive performance events in a number of cities, involving the homeless and formerly homeless interacting with the audience and participating in a performance of Bach piano works that incorporates projected stills of 14 Stations. Covering the 2005 exhibit of 14 Stations at The Brooklyn Museum, Art in America said, "Michalek's commiseration with his fellow humans and deep understanding of dramatic figurative representation have enabled him to produce a profound cycle of photographs."
Commissioned to create the images for the film in Peter Sellar's Kafka Fragments, a staged setting of composer Gyorgy Kurtag's searing work for soprano and violin, Michalek, then Artist-in-Residence at The Bridge, Inc., a day-home for people living with mental illness, drew on his activities and interactions with patients to create his compelling photographs. Michalek introduced Kurtag's libretto at the residents' weekly poetry group, where it was read aloud and discussed. Out of these discussions, and over four months of work, he and the group staged and photographed scenes and tableaux for each of the 40 "fragments" of text that are sung by soprano Dawn Upshaw. The Los Angles Times, reviewing the 2005 performance of Kafka Fragments at Zankel Hall, wrote, "Kafka Fragments reveals the hidden places where light shines within the darkest recesses of our souls...[and the] photographs by David Michalek connect the musical fragments to suffering in the world and also to the beauty of the world."
In July of 2007, he premiered a work entitled, Slow Dancing, at the Lincoln Center Summer Arts Festival. Slow Dancing is a series of 43 larger-than-life, hyper-slow-motion video portraits of dancers and choreographers from around the world, displayed on multiple screens. Each subject's movement (approximately 5 seconds long) was shot on a specially constructed set using a high-speed, high-definition camera recording at 1,000 frames per second (standard film captures 30 frames per second). The result is approximately 10 minutes of extreme slow motion. The trio of portraits will be randomly selected for each cycle, allowing viewers to simultaneously compare dancers from different styles and cultures.
What at first appears to be a series of still photographs unfolds gesture by barely perceptible gesture—a motion portrait in which each dancer's unique artistic expression and technique are revealed. Viewers can choose to focus on one dancer's complete performance or observe the interplay among the screens. The extreme slow motion enables the viewer to share privileged information about the complexity of the simplest gestures, catching details that would normally escape the naked eye. The work had significant critical and popular success. The New York Sun, reviewing the premier of the work, wrote, "This latest item of public art integrates itself into the poetry of the summer of 2007, as well as the collective memories and mythology of New York City."
Born in San Francisco in 1967, David Michalek earned a B.A. in English Literature from U.C.L.A. in 1990 and also studied filmmaking at NYU. He worked as an assistant to noted photographer Herb Ritts for two years, beginning in 1989. In 1991, he began his professional photographic career and worked regularly as a portrait artist for publications such as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Interview, and Vogue. Beginning in the mid-1990s, Michalek began experimenting with performance and installation, and developing large-scale, multi-dimensional projects. His solo and collaborative work has been shown nationally and internationally, with recent solo exhibitions at Yale University, The Brooklyn Museum, and The Kitchen. He has collaborated with director Peter Sellars on two staged works: Kafka Fragments, presented as part of Carnegie Hall's 2005-06 season; and St. François d' Assise, presented at the Salzburg Festival and Paris Opera. Other film and video work for theater includes collaborations with The Tallis Scholars; John Malpede and L.A.P.D. on three works, Agents and Assets, The Skid Row Museum and RFK in EKY; and with the Brooklyn Philharmonic in a project for The Brooklyn Museum's "Music Off the Walls" series. Michalek has been the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, from, among others, The Franklin Furnace, The Durfee Foundation, The California State Arts Council, the Jerome Robbins Foundation, Karen-Weiss Foundation, and the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County (commission grant toward the creation of Slow Dancing). Beginning in spring 2007, he will be an artist in residence with The World Performance Project at Yale University. He is on the visiting faculty of the Yale Divinity School, where he lectures on religion and the arts. David Michalek lives in New York with his wife Wendy Whelan, principal dancer of New York City Ballet.
