Dead Famous is a television series that challenges the paranormal world of ghost busting. Cynical but curious Gail Porter and sensitive Chris Fleming take a spirited road trip through America looking for the ghostly locations where legends of stage, screen and music reside. Described by the channel as "like a sharper, sexier and funnier Mulder and Scully", the duo visit places where, it is claimed, celebrity spirits roam – their hotel rooms, diners, gardens, film lots and theatres.
Episode format
Gail Porter and Chris Fleming travel across America and search for the ghosts of dead celebrities. Gail is a skeptic and investigates with Chris who uses his psychic sensitivity to try and find out if a celebrity is haunting a location from their pasts.
The show visits three locations that have some link or connection to the dead celebrity, although some of these connections, seem nebulous, at best. All of the locations are researched for their historical connection and presented in a factual way.
