The Naked Brothers Band is a TV series based on the 2005 independent film of the same name. The show premiered on Nickelodeon on February 3, 2007.[1] The plot is based around the leaders of the Naked Brothers Band, Nat and Alex Wolff dealing with issue like sibling rivalry, romance, music, and other problems throughout the series. The show is shot in reality show style, with the characters aware that the cameras are following them. The program premiered on Nickelodeon UK, Tuesday 29th May, with the film premiering on Monday, both at the same time of 10am.
Characters
Nat Wolff- The eldest son of Michael Wolff, and older brother to Alex Wolff. He is the talented lead singer of the Naked Brothers Band, and writes almost all of their songs. Although he's called the "Girl Magnet" for a good reason, he has a huge crush on friend and bandmate Rosalina, which can often be hard to hide.He and Rosalina have had one kiss on the lips and two on the cheek.Though he has trouble coping with girls they all seem to love him.
Alex Wolff- The youngest son of Michael Wolff, and younger brother to Nat Wolff. He is the drummer and rebel of the Naked Brothers Band, and has a crush on tutor/baby-sitter, Jesse. Recently, he has obtained a new crush on a new girl (which he first thought was a boy), Juanita.
Rosalina- The bassist and only girl of the band. She can play about seven instruments (although said she can play ten) and is the object of a crush from lead-singer, Nat. At times, she also seems to have a crush on him, but then she hides her feelings. She also tends to drop hints (which Nat is practically blind to). Level-headed and fun to be around, Rosalina is a friend to all of the band.
David- The pianist and one of many pranksters, David is just plain silly. He owns a dog named E.T. that Nat and Alex love to play with. David, Thomas, and Qaasim are usually the ones that are after the girls...and that tease Nat about his feelings for Rosalina.
Thomas- The cellist and main wannabe ladies' man of the group, Thomas is always coming up with crazy schemes (including faking a shark attack to get girls' attention). Always staying true to himself and being free-spirited, he is just a great friend.
Qassim- The very talented guitarist of the six, Qaasim is the relaxed smooth-talker of them all. Definitely the true ladies man, he lends advice to kinda clueless David and Thomas. In general, Qaasim is simply a fun-loving guy.
Cooper- The manager and "wise beyond his years" kid of the gang, Cooper is quite the expert. Sporting a nice suit, cool glasses, and always carrying his cell phone, you can tell that he is very responsible...not to mention always reliable and loyal to the band.
Michael Wolff- The loving and lovable dad of Nat and Alex. Always looking out for his sons, Michael is a very caring and helpful father...although he (and his accordion) can prove to be a big embarrassment at times.
Jesse- The baby-sitter and tutor of the band, Jesse is a friendly, fun-loving, and fair friend of the band. Although Alex has a crush on her and she calls him her "little boyfriend", she has gone on a few dates (but Alex thinks she shouldn't go on dates with anybody but him). Ever trustworthy and willing to assist to the band, Jesse is a good friend to all of them.
