Request for help

Very interesting project! While I personally like the "fancy stuff", I do understand editors who prefer minimalism. I'd be happy to help create boxes for categories, if requests are posted on the talk page, I can do a few to help, certainly. Hee hee, thank you! Well, truthfully, lots, lol. I started from a tiny little "tab" template I found, and spent about a full day tweaking various things (knowing pretty much nothing about coding .css stuff) until it looked like I wanted, lol. Thank you!

LOL I was honestly completely shocked when I read that, and couldn't believe it was true, lol. Pretty wild. I remember seeing the movie from the front row, on opening night (because those were the only seats left in the theatre) and my neck was killing me after 2+ hours, lol. Solved, kind of

Ok, fixed that. The long answer is: in the absence of evidence to the contrary, please assume I'm talking out of an inappropriate orifice. A slightly shorter answer is: I got it wrong on the talk page. Should be {{user label..., not {{label....

A second problem is that it tgt doesn't work if it's in the category namespace. I don't know why yet - I'll try to work it out and fix it later today, but in the meantime I've set the target to United States. Jakew 10:09, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah! That is part of the theming plan. It means that the user can control the appearance of a label.

Well, let me look... You blanked the page here and here with no explanation. Your edit here was simply gibberish, erasing all existing material. This edit here not only removed information, but added invalid script, creating issues with the page display, removing the image and text. Your edit here removed information, leaving the sentence to begin halfway through, and again, none of these explained any reasons for your actions. If you are new to editing, I would suggest you stop, and go read a few of the help articles such as Cite your sources, Manual of style, Layout guide, First article, Article development and How to edit for assistance. Also, please realize this is an encyclopedia, and your grammar, language, punctuation, spelling, etcetera should be as correct as you can get it when editing articles. Indeed I am Sten Odenwald, and I have to apologize for misunderstanding the terms of submitting biographies! I looked at the pages by Alan Lightman and other astronomers I know personally, and used their styles as a template.

I would be happy to find a 'third party' to submit the bio if need be, but thanks so much for your editing!!!
