Countryside High School is a public high school located in Clearwater, Florida. It is a member of the Pinellas County School System. The mascot is the cougar.

- Countryside has a notable Drama program winning many statewide awards.

Sports, Theatre, and Activities
- District Champions in football, flag football, volleyball, track & field and wrestling
- State Champions 6A boys soccer
- The marching band was invited to attend the 2005-2006 Cotton Bowl. They were Grand Champions in the field show and first runners up in the parade competition
- The Winterguard is the Scholastic Class A Florida Federation of Colorguard Circuit (FFCC) state champions and the scholastic class A Winter Guard International bronze medalists in 2006.
- Won the first ever high school Battle of the Books competition in 2006; later won the 2007 High School Battle of the Books.
- The school newspaper, The Paw Print, received an All Florida Rating from the Florida Scholastic Press Association; a Superior from the Southern Interscholastic Press Association and an International Second Place Award from Quill and Scroll.

- The CHS Drama Dept/Thespian Troupe 900 successfully ran Broadway to Go 10 and was awarded critics choice for their one-act musical A.. My Name is Alice. Their site is www.CHSTroupe900.com

- Sam Brown participated in the Drama program and is now a successful actress.
- Andrew DeClercq who played in the National Basketball Association for Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Orlando Magic,
- Matt Geiger who played in the National Basketball Association for Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, and Philadelphia 76ers
- Jeff Mitchell, who played center for the Carolina Panthers
- Keith Boykin, a broadcaster, author, and political activist
- Frank Hibbard, who is the current mayor of Clearwater, Florida
- Anthony Parrulli, 1993 Graduate, Captain and performer of the Blue Man Group in Orlando. Frontman of the Rock Band "The Schmeltz" with other graduates of CHS, Vincent Parrulli (1987), Kevin Connolly (1995), Brian Connolly (1997), and Christopher Carbonaro (1993).
