"How's It Going to Be" is a song by the American rock band Third Eye Blind, featured on their 1997 self titled album. The b-side a non-album track "Horror Show" written by guitarist Kevin Cadogan and vocalist Stephan Jenkins.

The song describes a man ending a relationship with a woman, taunting her with the reality that she is never going to see him again, that she has lost him for all time. The man is happy to be out of the relationship, but the woman is going to have a lot of trouble letting go. However, he does not care about her feelings, as he's interesting only in taunting her before he disappears from her life forever.

Released as a single, "How's It Going to Be" reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the United States, proving to be the band's third Top 10 single, following the success of "Semi-Charmed Life" and "Jumper".[1]
