Revert in Finland

Hi Brianga, I just had a script of yours reverting a constructive edit from the Finland page (removing NPOV bullshit; see Finland talk page). Please follow up and see that it does not happen again. I see that you are against vandalism so I am sure you will! Cheers, (194.252.5.66 10:28, 5 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Dear Brianga, Please refrain from vandalizing pages on things you know nothing about (Finland) and threathening other users with being blocked if the revert your edits. This is not very civil behaviour from an established member of the Wikipedia community. You don't want to loose your reputation!

If you don't like style or language please do a rewrite. If you dispute the facts specify what facts and why and someone will find you a reference. Better yet, do some research yourself before you do anything (otherwise you just waste peoples time doing useless things like writing on your user talk).

Hope I just caught ou on a bad day and this is not your true self!

Cheers, (194.252.5.66 11:10, 5 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

  • It appears that you are referring to this edit. Please see my response about an identical revert here.
(@Brianga: I assume that the damage done in 194.252.5.66's edits was unintentional, so it might perhaps been preferrable to choose an edit summary which does not use the word "vandalism", even if 194.252.5.66 himself is throwing around the word quite liberally.)

  • User:194.252.5.66, your edits are disruptive in that they break numerous links and references inside an article. If you have legitimate edits, please do so without disrupting the style or syntax of an article. As for editing something that I know 'nothing' about, that is a ad hominum attack and is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Brianga 11:49, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The links were removed by accident when editing the article. Sorry about that. What I was upset about was you undoing my whole edit in response (which I guess was easier for you than just fixing the links).

Your knowledge of the issue at hand was relevant for disputing the legitimacy of you undoing the whole edit (not just the links) (194.252.5.66 15:26, 5 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user page. =) -- Gogo Dodo 08:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

JR Inkjet

Hi. I have edited a couple of pages re Inkjet and refilling that you undid - why? Jr Inkjet was the first and original maker of a Universal ink that works in all printers., We have a patented formula, and we have been selling for 9 years. Is there something offensive I am doing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.97.226.5 (talk) 10:12, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fighting off the vandalism to this page -- your attentiveness easily foiled the vandal. Larry Dunn 15:15, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

Thanks so much for reverting the Goshen College page back from vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hochstetler51 (talkcontribs) 23:04, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring onesided POVs using your Bot.

Please read articles before using your editor script. The article you vandalized with a robotic revert was grossly one sided, and had ridiculous spin / doublespeak. Dogs inteorgating peoiple, get real. Now instead of being a grossly one-sided whitewash that only offered a US perspective it now has TWO sides. Hopefully some editors will now work on it to merge the "sides" to present unbiased factual information. not the complete BS you restored. I call a shovel a shovel - that was complete rubbish that you restored. Dogs interrogating... sure. The speed of your editing is somewhat suspect, please slow down. 24.7.91.244 05:07, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop whitewashing articles with your US BIAS. 24.7.91.244 05:09, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

War dog Please READ before editing

"by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to War dog" Excuse me. Please READ before editing. I REMOVED a personal analysis from War dog. 24.7.91.244 05:10, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Benamar Benatta - Please READ before editing (2)

Diff: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Benamar_Benatta&diff=158658584&oldid=157605927

On Benamar Benatta you recently revert content claiming "removed pov". Did you actual read it? There was no POV removed by the diff below. You removed a factual and referenced piece stating who was responsible for the case of Benamar Benatta. It's a mess of an article, but what you removed was not POV. See the diff. 24.7.91.244 05:18, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a problem with an artcile, edit to improve it, do not just take the lazy approach of bulk blanking, as 99% of your edit history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Brianga) shows you do. Your activities are not helpful. 24.7.91.244 05:23, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

William Francis Willesee

I'm new to Wikipedia and was planning to add information on Western Australian politicians to a category someone has started called Political Families of Australia. The page I was creating on William Francis Willesee was almost instantly deleted - I don't know why, or how to get it back. Your name was at the bottom of a message: Speedy deletion of William Francis Willesee

A tag has been placed on William Francis Willesee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Brianga 06:17, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Corona can.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Corona can.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 13:24, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Admin

Hi. I'd like to nominate you for adminship in order to help your vandal fighting. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks. Epbr123 (talk) 00:27, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You actually identified my removing of COPYRIGHTED work on Image_talk:ArielAtom5807.jpg as vandalism??

seriously, are you on crack? dunno if that was an anti-vandalism bot that initiated the action or just you so I will give you the benifit of the doubt, but still. WTF? On top of that it looked like a exacty copy of a test online and just pasted there for no reason, it was not relavant at all. oh yeah did i mention at the bottom had, "Copyright©2003, Texas Education Agency. All rights reserved. Reproduction of all or portions of this work is prohibited without express written permission from the Texas Education Agency." Aleck79 00:06, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not on crack, nor do I recall this exact edit. Additionally, it looks like the page is now removed so I can't see what you are referring to. Could my revert have been because you blanked a page without an edit summary? Regardless, I apologize for any errors that I made. Brianga 10:48, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • blah, I was a bit frustrated at the time of that post, sorry bout that. No, it was not deleted and nor did I blank the entire page, just the offending content, however I did not put an edit summary. Also fixed the incorrect link to the page: talk:ArielAtom5807.jpg -> Image_talk:ArielAtom5807.jpg -Aleck79 03:39, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

existentialism

it's cool that people do this, guard wikipedia against vandalism... but considering "toilet: the novel" had no reference and I couldn't find it on amazon, I thought I would make a funny joke on the page, even funnier. it was an exercise in performance existentialism, lol.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.230.247.149 (talkcontribs)
