polish orliks
These pigeons were originally bred in the Polish/Ukrain mountains but fanciers eventually spread out throughout south-western Russia and the Ukraine. The first notable flight was put up in the southern Ukraine city of Nikloaev. Polish orliks flap their wings in a circular motion. Their wing tips should almost touch when descending to form a circle shape. Ukrainian sky-cutters are specially bred to fly straight up above their coop and to remain there (about a kilometer up) for several hours. A good sky-cutter has to be allowed at least a half an hour to an hour to reach these high altitudes, although some orliks are capable of reaching invisibility in only about six minutes. These birds become out of shape quite quickly so they should be flown almost every day if the weather permits. There are many different types of training, but the style most often used for laid back fanciers is to simply let a small group of hens or cocks out with a batch of younger birds (6-8 weeks old) and to fly them as you would a kit. The babies will try to follow the adults. After they have flown around a bit, call the hens in for feeding and the babies will follow them. There is also the option of tippler training with droppers.

Sessilee Lopez
Supermodel Sessilee Lopez started modeling at the age of 13 in Port St. Lucie, Florida when she was selected by Vogue staff to walk in a runway show featuring Catherine Malandrino's clothing line at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. She was the youngest model in the show and it was the first time she ever wore Stilettos but she pulled it off and shortly after went to New York to be discovered. The next year at an open call Sessilee was discovered by IMG Models when agent Phil McGowen picked her to be one of only two models chosen that year at a weekly open call. By the time she was just 16, the New York Daily News, V Magazine, Newyorkmetro.com, Zink Magazine, Philadelphia Inquirer, and the New York Times magazine listed Sessilee as one of the up-and-coming models to watch.
Sessilee has since modeled for numerous magazines including Pop, W. Allure, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Vibe, American Vogue, Italian Vogue, French Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Trace, Deutsch, V, Essence, Interview, Wade, WWD, Elle Accessories and New York Times Magazine and plenty of others. She has walked the runways for top designers including Fendi, Armani, Lagerfeld Galleries, Zac Posen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Peter Som and many more. She has been photographed by only the best photographers in the world which include Steven Meisel, Paolo Roversi, Alexi Hay, Karl Lagerfeld, Gilles Bensimon, Peter Lindberg, Mario Sorrenti, Michael Thompson, David Sims, Nicholas Moore, Mikeal Jansson, Patrick Demarcheller, Solve Sundsbo, Mario Testino and Alexi Lumbomirski.

Campbell Works
Campbell Works is a non-profit organisation and the creative partnership between artists Neil Taylor and Harriet Murray. By initiating and developing collaborative frameworks and creating a platform for new curatorial projects, Campbell Works acts as a meeting point for ideas and aims to explore contextual relationships between art, spaces and people.
From the gallery and project rooms, Taylor and Murray have developed a succession of unique and extraordinary projects, installations and exhibitions, weaving a route through the commercial, experimental and public realms.
The building
Located in North London, the Campbell Works building used to be one of many warehouses comprising the Stoke Newington Brewery. In 1997 Taylor and Murray took it on and have since then been reordering its internal structure making it dynamic and functional. Campbell Works holds a gallery space, a multi-functional project room, artists' studios and the organisation's offices.
Projects
Recent projects include:
as well as a series of group and solo exhibitions of new and established artists, such as Shane Bradford, Shaun Doyle an Mally Mallinson. Accompanying events include talks by Richard Wentworth, screenings of movies such as Mondo Cane and live gigs by underground bands from London.
Publications
Works is an extension of the exhibition space in the form of a newspaper and is published by Campbell Works on the occasions of new projects to act as a wider discussion around their themes, thinking and visual language. It is the new parent for its surrogate offspring artinit.
Funding
Campbell Works has received financial support and funding from many organisations such as:
- The Wellcome Trust (or see the Wikipedia page)
- The Elephant Trust
- LIFT
- Awards for All
- Hackney Council

"Denial" is the twenty first single by the British girl group Sugababes, and the third to be taken from their fifth studio album Change.[1]
The single was announced in early December by The Sun but was snubbed by fans who believed "My Love Is Pink" was the next single due to the fact that the song was sent to radios and was able to download. This is now however been denied by the record label saying that the promotional cds had only been sent out for clubs and dance radio stations only.[2]
Digital Fine Contrast
Digital Fine Contrast is a contrast-enhancing display technology introduced in 2006 by LG. It is used in the company's "Flatron" line of TFT monitors and implements a 'smart function' whereby it dynamically detects the characteristics of each frame to be displayed and automatically adjusts its contrast to obtain a sharper and more vivid image. The system comprises three units: ACR(Auto Contents Recognition), DCE(Digital Contrast Enhancer) and DCM(Digital Contrast Mapper)[1].
The initial announcement[2] claimed monitors with DFC could achieve a contrast ratio of 1600:1, while later products have been presented as capable of ratios even as high as 5000:1.
