There she is!! Step 2 - Cake Dance (Korean: 떳다 그녀!! step2. - 케잌 댄스) is a Flash animation produced by the Korean website SamBakZa. It is the sequel to There she is!! It was released on the website on February 25, 2005. Its soundtrack is the Korean pop song "Happy Birthday to Me" (Korean: 불독맨션) by Bulldog Mansion.

Like its predecessor, it was carried by classic anime style elements, but also included considerable amounts of full-animation action. That, along with the success of the original, allowed Step 2 to become popular very rapidly.

Synopsis

Template:Spoiler The film continues the story of the male cat and female rabbit from the first story. As before, names are not given and there is no dialogue. It is the rabbit's birthday, and their families are gathering for her party. The cat is lagging behind; he is supposed to be bringing the birthday cake.

The story revolves around his efforts to bring the cake to the party, but it is not going to be easy. He has to negotiate the urban crowds, stampeding animals and various other hazards. With the restaurant in sight, he runs straight into three rabbit gangbangers. One is angry seemingly thinking that he bullied a rabbit into being his girlfriend, so they try to rough him up. Although he tries to keep the cake safe, the cat is pushed through the door of the restaurant, where the cake is ruined before his girlfriend's eyes.

Although she is angry at first, she makes the most of the situation. She loves the cake, and shows her affection to him in her usual overzealous way. The gangbangers are forced to stay, the leader seeming particularly irritable. In the end, the cat runs into a younger rabbit in the same predicament as he was, and he offers to help her negotiate the streets with her cake safely.

Awards

As with the first one, a version with English titling was posted to Newgrounds' Flash Portal on March 11, 2005, where it was the #1 submission for that day and for the week ending March 16, as well as becoming a Review Crew pick. It was listed in the all-time top spot for weeks after its release, and as of June 2005 is still in the top 10, having been viewed there over 900,000 times.
