This strikes me very much as an autobiography. While the formidable list of compositions is admirable, I don't think Mr Smith has achieved the level of success listed in the article criteria.
I would give this a low quality rating and suggest that a Wikipedia page follow only after these accomplishments can be qualified via an independent source.

NPOV and lack of verification
I have attempted to find any sort of verification for facts in this article and can find very little. The only things I've found are his website and the bio on Troy University's page. I agree with those above: this sounds very much like an autobiography. -- Johnny06man 01:53, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Upon reviewing the biography of Robert W. Smith located here, it appears that activemusician gets its biography from Wikipedia itself. Compare it to an older version of this page, such as this. They are virtually identical. Activemusician cannot be used to source information on this article, since it gets its information from this article. -- Johnny06man 16:52, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

- I disagree. If you look at any other bio on activemusician's website, they are all very similar to the corresponding article on wikipedia. It may not be the same, but if you look at previous revisions, you should find a match. It is much more likely that activemusician copied from wikipedia, not the other way around. -- Johnny06man 03:35, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
