FC Illychivets Mariupol is a Ukrainian football team in the Ukrainian Vyscha Liha or the Ukrainian Premier League. They are based in Azov Sea coastal city of Mariupol. Illychivets joined the Vyscha Liha in the 1997-1998 season. It was previously called FC Metalurh Mariupol. FC Metalurh Mariupol' changed name to Illichivets during the winter break in the 2002-2003 season. FC Azovets Mariupol changed name to Metalurh during the winter break in the 1995-1996 season. She relegated to Persha Liga in 2006-2007 season as 15th. However she returned to Vyscha Liga next season as champions.
