Could the person who wrote that the disease is also called swine plague please give a citation? I haven't seen this term anywhere in the literature that I have consulted and am wondering if this might just be conjecture based on direct translation from the German Schweinepest. Thanks. I understand this disease can also occur in other animals such as domestic cats. Anyone know about this? 88.110.132.70 10:31, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology: Swine Plague?

Could the person who wrote that the disease is also called swine plague please give a citation? I haven't seen this term anywhere in the literature that I have consulted and am wondering if this might just be conjecture based on direct translation from the German Schweinepest. Thanks. 85.178.46.142 (talk)
