:::::I mention the minor edit notice template, he gives me it. I know what is considered a minor edit is but I often don't check to tick or untick the minor/watch boxes (yes, I know I set them to both be ticked). Unwatching is easy, you can't change what an edit is considered though and there's the problem. Creating a page could be a big deal but not for a redirect. <font color="#94887C">[[User talk:Treelo|treelo]]</font> <font color="#D2CDC6">[[Special:Contributions/Treelo|radda]]</font> 08:41, 26 August 2008 (UTC) |

Ok. I just had my fun. So now Im serious. I know your a strong headed, stuborn woman so I'll just say this. When I was blocked, it gave me time to think about how hard I've made your life. And I know this apology could never make up for the damage your page has faced, so I just want you to know that I am sorry. No, I wont do anything, and I dont expect you to believe me. I have just come back to apalogise and I wont be editing again. I am not sucking up to you. Infact, I think you are a terrible example for a lady and disgracefull to all women. But it is probable because I made your life harder then it is. I realised this when I also realised that you are taking time out of your day to make the site better. And I aplaud you for that. I have finally found a religion and have deeply regreted my actions. Also, since I will probably be blocked after this,(and since my fingers hurt by now) tell Elaich the same. Good bye, and good day. |

Hello! As far as I know, there is not normal to have the sandboxes in the article space. I reckon the best would be to put the article in your user space, e.g. User:Treelo/Sandbox or User:Treelo/Cartoon Network. Can you please do this? --Eivind (t) 10:43, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- According to Wikipedia:Main namespace the Main namespace should only contain Wikipedia articles, not sandboxes. I therefore moved the sandbox to User:Treelo/Sandbox and have nominated the redirect for speedy deletion. I hope this is ok. --Eivind (t) 10:53, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Even though I think that sandboxed articles can actually exist, I'm going to err on the side of caution and agree with you moving it to my userspace. treelo radda 11:25, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks :) Have a nice day and good luck with your Cartoon Network article! --Eivind (t) 11:30, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Username
Have you considered changing your username to "Shnitzel"? :-P Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 20:28, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- A little. You have been calling me Shnitzel for quite a while even within the "serious business" of AfD noms so maybe I might. Grown very attached to Treelo though, very attached. treelo radda 20:39, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Lemurs are more cuddly, tho. Yngvarr (t) (c) 21:08, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hell yeah. I have an alternate account called TutterMouse (Tutter was taken, as were Pip, Pop and Ojo) so I may have to keep this. Ojo and Tutter could be usurped though, was planning on using TutterMouse for some Huggle shenanigans. treelo radda 21:25, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

- Hyuk, that does have squat all to do with the discussion at hand (and that Kitty scares me, varying reasons I won't get into)! That really is a very cute picture of Tutter, might have to steal it somehow. treelo radda 23:51, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Wedgies (animated shorts)
Didn't we already have a page similar to Wedgies (animated shorts) deleted before? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 17:30, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yeppers, it was one of the shorts within this series. Anyway. glad to see you pushed it forward for deletion, hopefully it's not another issue where me, you and the otters along with Gorgy are the only ones with a !vote treelo radda 17:41, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Can you do me a favor?
I added a ref to The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack#Premise, and it's not parsing properly. You can see the malformed parse in {{reflist}} section, and it's tied to the second ref in the first paragraph. I can't see what I did wrong and I'm going batty staring at it. - Done CR dead centre of the title, throwing it out of whack. Cleaned up the author tag (last, first) and the date (YYYY-MM-DD). treelo radda 00:07, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you muchly. I wouldn't have even considered that. Wonder if I should ping the talk page for Cite web? Well, tomorrow is another day. Yngvarr (t) (c) 00:08, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Don't know many templates which can handle CR and still parse the remainder correctly so if its something else then yeah, go ahead. treelo radda 00:10, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Scooby-Doo
I think the Scooby-Doo TV Series of 2008 is a hoax. Can you nominate it for deletion? Why did you delete my nomination? It also has no sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nwt0 (talk • contribs) 21:57, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- I deleted your nomination on the basis of the article's incredibly bad title and that your contribs were about getting that article deleted which sounds weird for someone who signed up that day to go and nominate it. Seeing it though, it probably is a hoax and you can renom it again. I won't as it'll seem a little like I have an agenda against Scooby-Doo. treelo radda 00:10, 16 August 2008 (UTC)#
- Alright, best I can do is a prod, if it gets removed then I'll take it to AfD. treelo radda 00:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Adventures of Bunn-e
As an FYI, the article was speedy deleted, but under WP:CSD#A7, not WP:CSD#G4. It doesn't qualify as a G4, because it was never discussed in an AFD before, only speedy deleted. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:25, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, a G1 or A1 would have probably been more appropriate. A7 was kinda pushing it, but it still works... Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:29, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Every admin whose deleted it so far felt G7 was a good enough reason though I also reckon G1 or A1 would work better. Seeing as it's fairly inevitable it will be recreated, would G4 criteria actually apply even though it wasn't through usual AfD procedure? treelo radda 13:39, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- No, not really, it has to go through an actual AFD discussion before G4 applies. If it comes up again, and I'm around, I'll not only block the user, but I'll salt the page. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:44, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, just needed confirmation. Should you be around, you might have to salt all the articles which have been deleted so far and probably ones which they might use. This person knows enough to change the capitalisation each time to prevent a salting through several recreations. treelo radda 13:53, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Dexter's Lab
Since you had no problem with the title cards in The Powerpuff Girls (a logo was available) and Ed, Edd n Eddy (which you uploaded), I thought I would continue the trend and do this. Then you clearly stated that my image was "terrible" and reverted it. So, for future purposes, is a show's logo better for an infobox than the actual title card? Paper Luigi Talk • Contributions 17:21, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, that was something based on simple visual assessment and if anything I'd prefer title cards over logos (though both Flapjack and Chowder have logos and not title cards). The logo I hate even more but it's still better than that cap. Wasn't yours I know but find something featuring the resolved titles instead of just before that and it can be a keeper. It has to have green text though, anything with yellow text was only used for one season. treelo radda 17:26, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

- I think I'm learning too much about you guys. I got one who hasn't watched the Muppets much if at all (might just be too late, I think The Muppet Show is a better starting point though) and another who's reliving his youth during the 60's when I was assuming he was a good decade or so younger. And yet I remain a mystery which is usually the case. treelo radda 09:49, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's Ok, I'm mostly harmless. I'll probably end up going into one of my taciturn phases shortly, anyways. Yngvarr (t) (c) 09:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Ah man, don't! I need you for someone to talk to when the otters are busy and make "X in popular culture" references which I don't quite get. Also, I need a wingman to help educate Chowder in the truly brilliant ways of the Muppets. All hail to Jim Henson, he built both our childhoods though he was dead by the time I really got to appreciate his work (5 years old, new clue). treelo radda 10:02, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- There was a reference in my above comment. I wonder who'll pick it up first? Yes, Jim Henson was definitely a genius. The world could use more of him and less of people like Steve Jobs. I think one of the reasons I like Fraggle Rock over the The Muppet Show was the limited broadcast of Fraggle Rock (HBO only). It was a little more "gentler" than the Muppet Show, too. Yngvarr (t) (c) 10:10, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- I got the reference, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, brilliant radio series I think, didn't think very much of the Quintessential Phase though, really didn't need the whole Fenchurch storyarc. Anyway, you will NOT stamp on Steve Jobs, both of those guys are true legends for me for near enough the same reasons in vastly different areas but both changed how people think and related to their specific things where before they simply didn't in the same way. I'm sure you meant Steve Ballmer, now the world does need much less of people like him. Developers, developers, developers indeed. I do like Fraggle Rock myself, think it was the show I watched after Sesame Street which is pretty much the gateway drug in a way. It got a fairly limited release here too but people of a certain generation grabbed onto it, even reworded the title theme to something a bit less nice. Still, true gems. treelo radda 10:20, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, you guys lost me. Who the hell is Steve Ballmer? (I should also pointing out that getting the otters and me interested in Chowder was a task in and of itself.) Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 18:29, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

(undent)Who's Steve Ballmer? Next you'll be asking who Peter Tork is! Yngvarr (t) (c) 19:30, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hey hey. treelo radda 20:16, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- See, I'm thinking to dangle these carrots in front of him, and maybe he'll get curious and check it out. But I know I have an odd sense of humor. I mean, I still say Zim was absolutely brilliant. Come on, replacing internal organs with a steam radiator? How ridiculous is that? Yngvarr (t) (c) 20:43, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- He's not a lost cause yet, there is still hope. Replacing organs with a radiator is genius whichever way you look at it, just don't know if "you guys lost me" can be said too much without some form of curiosity kicking in and finding out why we rant and rave about these things we love so much. Real friends don't let friends talk about things and not bother to go find out why they do so. treelo radda 22:08, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, now I'm really afraid to check out Zim. That's just freaking weird. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 23:32, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Better than being afraid of the Muppets as previously assumed. The weird that makes up Zim is its' biggest draw, just need to slightly adjust your thinking but definitely one of the last brave leftfield animated shows to come from Nickelodeon. treelo radda 23:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Which is probably why it failed, the network which it aired. I'm actually surprised that it even aired on Nick, considering the Klasky-Csupo empire of the time. Rocket Power? Please. Zim might not exactly be Adult Swim material, but somewhere in-between. Again, it really depends on your sense of humor. It's dark humor, but at the same time, totally ludicrous. Well, if you're not into it, I can't really twist your arm about it, but I think it's worth giving it a shot. Sometimes you need to taste something a few times before it really hits you. First time I saw Camp Lazlo, I hated it. I said "That's Murray! That's Rocko! Wait, that's not Rocko! That sucks!". But when I sat down and watched an episode start-to-finish, I was quick to change my mind. Oh, and the thing about Zim is to not watch the pilot. Billy West did Zim in the pilot, but Richard Steven Horvitz did it for the rest of the series. Horvitz is by far (IMO, definitely biased here) a better voice actor. Yngvarr (t) (c) 00:00, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- From the little snippets I've seen of Zim, it just seems too... creepy for me. It doesn't fit my sense of humor at all, and it reminds me of the creepy goth girl in my 12th grade creative writing class. Maybe that's the part of it. I can't watch 99.9% of anime for the same reason. And you're kidding — Zim had Daggett's voice? I love me some of The Angry Beavers (actually, I love it all), but dang; hearing Salem the Cat with Norbert's voice was weird enough. - Oooh, you are sooooo... close when you say that about the goth girl. Go a little bit further and deeper, until you hear that click.
- Okay, now I'm really afraid to check out Zim. That's just freaking weird. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 23:32, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Break 2
- (undent) Come on,
GorgyYng, quit talking in circles. How was I so close? What click are you talking about? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 00:22, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- You almost had a revelation about the type of humor of the show, and about the goth thing, but you stopped yourself short of examining it further. You saw the goth overtures of Zim, and remembered the girl in your 12th grade class, and shut down. The whole goth thing in the show is basically satire. Now, I'm not trying to be rude or mean (or condescending or anything, seriously, I hope you can see that I'm sincere), satire is not everyone's cup of tea. I'm trying to think of another example, rather than Zim, which you might find more appealing. Where is she when I need a nudge here? Yngvarr (t) (c) 00:30, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Being edit conflicted to death and being locked out, that's what! So much to go through, Chowder's loss at what we mean, Gorgy trying very hard to push the opposite of what we're trying to suggest for him to watch... Let's start from the top, Zim is gothic, yeah but little to do with anime in most respects. It's highly satricial but not our world and not our time either, more what our world is but exaggerating the insanity and inanity of modern culture in a way. The goth element was what drew me in, then Horvitz' acting then the jokes (not so oddly, it was mainly Gir and pigs), odd way to be pulled in I know but there's my way of getting to know and appreciate Zim. Gorgy, I love Horvitz' stuff but won't say he's better than West, who else would voice Ren and Stimpy I ask you? Chowder, the click you missed was the one of recognising the tone of Zim, basically it's that and more which in some way actually seems like it'd be more likely to put you off than pull you in. A question is, why did we switch to Zim from the Muppets which is the very thing which'd be more appealing? Chowder gets lost in our culture soup and we somehow went off elsewhere! No wonder he's confused by us and our culture vulture ways man. treelo radda 00:51, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- That wouldn't help me much. Zim would most likely parody things that I didn't even know existed. I quit reading Mad for the same reason. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 01:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Then you's need some edumuhcating, boy. I'm taking your concerns and making a nice little article for you in userspace. treelo radda 01:10, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- (e.c.) Besides, there's still that underlying darkness and weirdness; the first Zim clip I ever saw involved someone getting baloney stuck to their forehead and crying "The meat! The meat!" And that is funny how? It creeped the [bad word] out of me. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 01:10, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Bolognius Maximus, classic episode there. Too bad you got it without any context, given some that'd be humourous. Thing is, you can't go on clips to tell you, you need to watch an episode to get to grips with the style of humour and flow. Watching from the start will help too. Scary, really? Hm, if it was unexpected maybe but scary?! Weird sure but not scary. treelo radda 01:33, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I did watch it from the beginning (not comfortably). My reaction was still, "Dude, what the hell?!". It really, really did squick me out big time. And I'm not squicked out by Chowder puking up a tent, or by finding out that CatDog has a shared colon, or even the masturbation references snuck into Rocko. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 01:49, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- (Knew CatDog would show up eventually) Really? Funny stuff, maybe not the episode for you and not every one will be great. I didn't think much of "Snitzel Quits", someone else will think it to be the strongest of the first season. Point is, try a different episode and do not allow your conceptions of how it is or how it might be or how it has been affect what the episode is like. Free your mind and the rest will follow (duh duh-duh duh). treelo radda 02:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Meh. I guess I just got lucky with Chowder. And The Angry Beavers. And even The Brothers Flub (remember them?). Also note who created the page on The Brothers Flub. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 02:19, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

- Do you or Gorgy have an instant messaging service? I'd hate to be accused of using WP as a social network. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 01:58, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Do you know how long I've been thinking about how we've been breaking WP:NOT? I'm OK with this sort of freeform conversation but others might not so ask Gorgy, then me. I'm not hot on instant messaging, there's no such thing as edit conflicts allowing for breaks and not allowing conversations to get confusing. There's always IRC I guess. treelo radda 02:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Gir, ride the pig!. Well, I'm sorry I dropped this (last night, for me), but the Lannisters and the Starks are just about wage open war against each other, and I needed to keep an eye on them before I went to bed. In any event, as for WP:NOT, I've thought about the same thing myself, but since nobody's slapped our wrist yet, I'm not overly concerned. We all have "net positive" contribs in the middle of conversations like this, and I'm not sure anyone would disagree with taking a break to relieve one's wikimood (especially Hammer, who, from history, can juggle six different talk pages at once). Yngvarr (t) (c) 09:27, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Haha, yes! Piggys are fun but warring fictional families in a epic fantasy fiction book series, not as much, bit more brooding. Alright, back to the thing and yes, if nobody is going to bother us and as long as we keep doing other editing duties we should be OK to do this. You worry too much and we have more important things to do like sharing things with you in the hope you'll try it and like it. And Chowder wouldn't have to juggle so many if he didn't split them. treelo radda 10:30, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Aha! There's a good example. It took me over 10 years to finally start reading A Game of Thrones, and you know why? The image on the cover turned me off. It reminded me of a book I read some time ago. The name escapes me, but it was a "fantasy" novel, and had a picture of a troika on the cover, but it came down to having a large romantic storyline, which turned me off. So, when I saw the cover image of A Game of Thrones, a man on a horse in the snow, it reminded me of that other novel, and totally turned me off. Much the shame on my part, because I lost out on some good reading. And now I've spent probably an hour trying to find the name of that other book. Yngvarr (t) (c) 11:27, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Huh, alright. Um, we have come far from where we started, huh? Best to try and get back to what we should be dealing with. treelo radda 11:47, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- So the question is, where did we start? Muppets? Zim? Chatting? We weave a tangled web. Well, that's probably my fault. How about that generic sports team? Yngvarr (t) (c) 11:58, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- We started at the Muppets and was in essence instigated by me because of Chowder becoming abnormally quiet anytime we mentioned them in connection with my lemur namesake, purple otter twins or blue mice. That we actually followed along that path was partly Chowder's by telling us how he didn't know much about them, we decided to help him find out in the same way we tried to help him understand Zim better which brings us here with several differing cultural references which sidetracked us various time. treelo radda 12:09, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

I think you've got the option that says "mark all edits as minor" turned on in your preferences. Creating a new redirect or replying on a talk page is hardly minor. :-P Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 23:51, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah? Define minor... and I have been meaning to switch it off but then you'd have the opposite situation and most of my edits are minor. Not tiny spelling error minor but boring undo edits minor. I figure it minor as it has a fairly low impact on content, a redirect for me thinking
{{tl}}
would have a null variant in{{tlnull}}
is fairly minor even given it's use... MINOR EDIT FTW!!!11!! Haha. Is it that bad? I see :-P but how far does that stretch before I get a notice template about minor marked edits? treelo radda 09:01, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' - I mention the minor edit notice template, he gives me it. I know what is considered a minor edit is but I often don't check to tick or untick the minor/watch boxes (yes, I know I set them to both be ticked). Unwatching is easy, you can't change what an edit is considered though and there's the problem. Creating a page could be a big deal but not for a redirect. treelo radda 08:41, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Its been a while
