Japanese name

The game was never called "Rockman 9" in Japan. It's original name was "Rockman and Forte", as it can be seen in this picture.--201.19.142.25 16:23, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Old game

Wasn't this game released in Japan on the Super Nintendo first, and then on the Gameboy Advance years later in America? I believe I heard this game has a big delay in the American release, so wouldn't that mean that it took place before Megaman 8?--Benpercent 05:09, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Mega Man 8 was released in 1996 in Japan. This game was made after. The GBA version was released in Japan, US, and Europe (though for some reason, I cannot locate a European rating for the game...it can't be found on either the BBFC or PEGI websites). --Thunderbird8 (talk) 15:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Tea and Powerthirst

What the heck I think it's vandilism. (Look and the end of of the last couple paraghraphs:

The story was changed?

"The story was changed slightly from the Super Famicom version to meet with the timeline of taking place after Mega Man 8."

MM&B is not parallel to MM9

It is an alternate continuation to Mega Man 8, and is parallel to Mega Man 9. [...] The game is not considered a sequel to Mega Man 8 (there exists a separate Mega Man 9), but was a side story.

But, in the ending of Mega Man 9, we can understand that Mega Man 9 is in fact set after Mega Man & Bass, when Mega Man shows nine defeats of Wily. The ninth one represents Mega Man & Bass. DjinnFighter (talk) 02:50, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Yup. Let's delete this line. Side story doesn't mean "alternate". It's just means it's a game that's not part of the "main series". In this case, it was just a little experiment using the Mega Man 8 engine on 16-bit hardware. --Dez26 15:36, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
