The discography of Sugababes, a British pop group, consists of five studio albums, one compilation album, two extended plays, twenty-three singles, and one video album. Sugababes were formed in 1998 by Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhán Donaghy.[1] The group have sold over five millions albums[2] and two million singles in the United Kingdom.[3]
The group's debut album One Touch was released in November 2000. It reached reached number twenty-six and went gold in the UK.[4][5] One Touch produced four singles, three of which reached the top twenty.[4] In 2001, the album's lead single "Overload" was nominated for a BRIT Award for "Best British Single".[6] The album's sales did not meet the expectations of London Records and the group was subsequently dropped.[1] Donaghy left the group in August 2001 and was replaced by former Atomic Kitten member Heidi Range.[6] The group's second album Angels with Dirty Faces was released in August 2002 through Island Records. Influenced by the New Wave, dance, and pop music of the 1980s, the record enjoyed success in the UK where it reached number two and went triple platinum.[4][7] It produced two number one singles, and nominated for "Best British Album" at the 2003 BRIT Awards.[4][8]
Three, Sugababes' third album, was released in October 2003. It reached number three in the UK and produced four singles, three of which reached the top ten.[9] The group's fourth album Taller in More Ways was released in October 2005. The album reached reached number one and went double platinum in the UK.[4][10] Shorty following the album's release, Buena left the group due to personal reasons,[11] and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah.[12] The group's fifth album Change was released in October 2007. The album, comprised of pop, dance and R&B songs,[13] reached number one and went platinum in the UK.[4][14] Change produced three top twenty singles.[4]
