Fairhills High School, located in Knoxfield, Victoria, Australia, a short drive to Knox City Shopping Center and easily accessable by public transport. Fairhills High School is a state-government school. The school's mission is "leading all students to be confident and effective life-long learners."
Fairhills has adopted a SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) program.[2] This program focuses on letting 'faster' students 'speed' past their peers, in their penultimate year the students are reunited.
Rock Eisteddfod
Fairhills has competed in the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge since 1995, winning in 1996 in the Melbourne open division and placing first for the first time in 2005 in the Melbourne premier division.[3] Fairhills then went on that year to place third in the National Event. In 2006, Fairhills finished second to St. Columba's College in the Premier State section. In 2007 Fairhills came second with their theme of Japanime. In 2008 Fairhills narrowly won the Victorian Premier Grand Final with their theme Oceania.
