Thanks!

Thanks so much for your support in myRfA, which closed successfully this morning. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 19:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I remember you asking a while ago if I could get an image for Burscough FC. I managed to snap one of the ground the other day - it's not much, but unfortunately there isn't an awful lot to see from the outside. Better than nothing though! Regards. Transfering images to Commons

I use Move-to-commons assistant for this process, which is fairly straightforward. I've only ever moved images from the English Wikipedia, but I imagine it works the same for any language Wikipedia. Give me a shout if you need a hand. :) Small-town hero (talk) 22:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cricketainment is a valid article. if you think so support it, by voting it for restoration. however it cannot be redirected to IPL since cricketainment is a concept and IPL is a tournament by BCCI. if you a follower of T20 you would be knowing that pakistan(PCB) and even England boards are going to implement similar tournaments in the future.

At present the sourced content available doesn't support a separate page. However, if the term becomes more broadly used then that may change in the future. Smile a While (talk) 14:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Brandon

Feel free to add the wl back again. I didn't feel it was a notable enough school. Peanut4 (talk) 00:28, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Smile a While (talk) 00:31, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Note. It was called Yorkshire Martyrs School when Brandon went, but now called Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College so will need linking to there. Peanut4 (talk) 00:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I just spotted that, so I'm on to it :-) Smile a While (talk) 00:35, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Already done it. Peanut4 (talk) 00:36, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, faster than a speeding rocket, thanks! Smile a While (talk) 01:15, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've done what I can, and also solicited input from Wikipedia:WikiProject Ottawa since they'd most likely have the best access to proper sources (Ottawa Citizen archives, etc.) Bearcat (talk) 13:39, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this positive, prompt reaction. Smile a While (talk) 21:19, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Herbert Chapman

Hi there - as a Huddersfield fan on Wikipedia I thought you may be interested in the article about Herbert Chapman, which is currently undergoing a peer review. If you have the time your contributions would be most welcome. Thank you. Qwghlm (talk) 18:43, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Boundary Park

Hello there! I can assure you I'm as equally pleased resolving the location issue! This had been bothering me for a while! I would not have guessed it's wholly in Oldham proper, but I've seen it in black-and-white now.

Re dates, you ask a valid question - one that I asked when I saw such a change. The Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) changed about a month/three weeks ago, meaning that years and dates no longer require wikilinks. Key dates (emphasis), or articles about time or calander systems are still expected to have these linked, but in most topics, it should be avoided. I only found out because of a FA I was involved with recently. --Jza84 |  Talk  12:00, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion review for Jack Wilshire

I have asked for a second deletion review of Jack Wilshire. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. as fully expected he started today for Arsenal F.C.. Could an Admin please restore the article ASAP so as to not waste someone who knows no better's time starting to write a new article from scratch. Nfitz (talk) 18:44, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Happen to have a secondary source stating he played for Blackpool? I don't see any mention of him in my sources. Maybe the reference provided includes a typo? - Dudesleeper / Talk 18:00, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have any additional sources. One way forward might be to try to contact the reporter and ask him where he got his info? Smile a While (talk) 20:17, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
