We have yet another problem and another vote as some Croats are not happy with this topic existing. Please add a vote or some input. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Towns_in_the_Former_RSK Thanks. POV fork

Hello,

I notice that you made a comment here about the Kashmir article, thank you for that:-) However would you not consider posting it on the noticeboard for the topic, where the issue is being reviewed? Pahari Sahib 06:00, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Biased POK article

hi i have noticed that when i go on google and type in azad kashmir it redirects me to the biased POK page conjured by nationalist indians could you please remove this redirection as it is clearly indian propaganda. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.177.243 (talk) 09:16, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Floquet de Neu

Could you please have a look at Talk:Copito de Nieve? It is unfair that the page has been move-protected, and renamed back to the Spanish version! Leptictidium (mt) 11:21, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

historical territory?

Since fortune favours the bold, we need your bold action at the Basque country article. We've been driving in circles ever since you left us... Mountolive deny, deflect, detonate 17:00, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mountolive. I am not the only admin who has taken part on the RM discussion. As a matter of fact, Husond has been more active than me. The page is still listed at WP:RM and I am positive that other admins are keeping an eye on the move request. It would not feel right for me to close it, even if consensus has been reached. Nevertheless, I will go back and recap what has been going on and make some suggestions. Cheers! --Asteriontalk 18:28, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flamenco accident

Hey there Asterion. Just to let you know that I reverted your recent edits over at Flamenco by accident. I reverted myself back to your edits as soon as I realised. --Gibmetal 77talk 20:45, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No pasa ná hombre. Hope you're doing well! --Asteriontalk 21:35, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you in the UK now, o por aquí cerca en Andalucía? Si no me equivoco eres sevillano, no? --Gibmetal 77talk 23:16, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you ever decide to pay Gib a visit, no dudes en avisarme. Saludos, --Gibmetal 77talk 07:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A mi me pasaba lo mismo cuando hablaba en llanito con otro Gibraltarian in the UK :). What was your friend's name?
He's the Minister for Sport and Culture and quite a bit older than you, so I doubt it's him jeje. :P --Gibmetal 77talk 23:51, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images of Brigg

Hello, my name is Nicole and i am the senior feature writer for Lincolnshire In Focus magazine. I am lookingfor some images of Brigg to go with our town feature for our October issue and wondered if you could help at all.

I'm struggling because i am on a strict deadline and people i have contected are not getting back to me. I came across the picture you have taken of the Brigg marketplace on Wikipedia abd wondered if it was ok to feature it in the magazine?

Also if you have any others of Brigg i would love it if you would like to send them to me via email at editor@waltonspublications.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Nicole —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.34.47.140 (talk) 10:42, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gibnews

¿Puedes aconsejarme? Gracias --Ecemaml (talk) 14:41, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This sounds like a personal attack to me. If only I understood Spanish ... --Gibnews (talk) 18:04, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This does sound like a personal attack to me, its an accusation of POV-warrioring, accusations of bad faith reverts and a comparison to the banned user Gibraltarian. Justin talk 22:48, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Asterion, see what I've left in the talk page of RedCoat (here). It seems a blatant case of vandalism (pretending a source says what it does not). If your curious about how Gibnews is chasing me, you can see an example here --Ecemaml (talk) 21:13, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"It seems a blatant case of vandalism" - this allegation comes across as somewhat uncivil. Please assume good faith and avoid the word "vandal". Thanks, RedCoat10 (talk) 23:12, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sevillapedia

Hello Asterion, I am a sevillapedian's sysop. Someone, probably you, has registered the account "Asterion" on Sevillapedia. The new user says to be you. Please, confirm me that this account really does belong to you (I would like to avoid a misunderstanding). Thank you very much. Regards.--Jatrobat (talk) 23:01, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Afd

Hi Asterion.

Do you agree with this rationale [1] more or less? An anon placed a deletion tag the other day (and I swear it wasnt me ;) which was promptly removed. I restored the tag, adding a bit more at the tag (basically the summary edit made by the anon). Then it has been removed again.

Apparently the due process (bureucracy, you know?) would be to start a afd stuff. Actually, I dont think the article should be deleted, but overhauled. The thing is that, as it is now, it is SO messy that I can't see where to start from. So I thought it would be good to delete it and start from scratch. However, I guess this will kickstart all kind of suspicions and/or "procedure concerns" within the ruling bureaucrat class (which you are part of :P). All their chatter is fine and dandy with me...the problem is that sometimes blocks action. And we shouldnt have such an important article like that one reduced to the regrettable state it has been for years.

The funniest of it all (well, if there is anything funny at all with this) is that no one really seems to care in defending that article...it is just a vanity thing where any given nationalist/regionalist having a bad day makes his OR of the day and leaves the article (in an even more regrettable state) without possibly care to ever come back...

I already asked about this topic once, I know....in any case, you know you can count with my support to improve the article if any serious action is taken. If you are up to the challenge, then please inform of due process ,etc.

Have a good vacation Mountolive deny, deflect, detonate 15:03, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mountolive,
I also restored the tag myself when an anon deleted it... I was under the impression that to contest anything like that, at the least, an explanation was due (ie {{hangon|reason why...}}). If the nominator does not list it for afd, I would do this on their behalf. I agree that it is beyond recovery -and in parts, just plain nonsense-. Re: Quotations, et cetera

Hi and thanks for your message. I believe Wikipedia's policy is that it is best to avoid copyright material if possible. The non-free content criteria states that "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic". In this instance, the excerpt is used within a reference and adds nothing to the article. Moreover, at 222 words in length, it is by no means brief. The citation itself is enough to verify the material.

(PS: please note that I reverted before you left me the message)

AMENA

Although this may sound like original research, I just switched on my cellphone and looked at the providers available which are:

GI GIBTEL
Movistar
Vodaphone es
AMENA
IAM

There is no mention of Orange and its a triband phone which works OK with them in the UK.

It may be that they claim it works, but for the moment it does not.

Asterion...sorry to bother yet again.

I am trying to file a case here [2] but I dont know how to do it...it is my first time and I am confused with the tecnicalities.
