The following list of people play, or have played, significant roles in the World Rally Championship (WRC).

Max Mosley - president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the sport's governing and rulemaking body
Jacques Regis - president of the FIA's World Rally Championship commission, until March 2006.
Shekhar Mehta - president of the FIA's World Rally Championship commission, from March 2006 to 12 April 2006 when he died unexpectedly.^[1]
Morrie Chandler - appointed president of the World Rally Championship Commission in July 2006.^[2]

Michael Park (d.18 September 2005) - co-driver to Markko Märtin^[3]
Jorg Bastuck (d.24 March 2006) - co-driver to Aaron Burkart^[4]
Henri Toivonen (d.2 May 1986) - driver to co- driver Sergio Cresto, who perished in the same crash as Toivonen.
