Naming of article

Should the article be named Elfin Cars or Elfin Sports Cars. The company seems to have always been named 'Elfin Sports Cars' [1] - Ctbolt 02:25, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Catalina

Notice the Elfin Catalina does not appear in the model breakdown. How many were made? --Falcadore (talk) 07:22, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the Catalina name was applied unofficially to the Formula Junior model after Frank Match won the 1962 Australian Formula Junior Championship at the Catalina Park circuit. Blanden & Cooper list "Formula Junior" but not "Catalina" in both the "Elfin Family Tree" and "Elfin Production Register" tables in their book "Elfin Sports and Racing Cars". When I get a chance in the new year I'll attempt to track down the book and check the text re this. GTHO (talk) 22:14, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
