Pringle is a town in Custer County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 125 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Pringle is located at 43°36′33″N 103°35′39″W (43.609253, -103.594124)Template:GR.

It is most famous as the home of a housing complex devoted to Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The development continues to grow and spark controversy in the area.

The racial makeup of the town was 92.80% White, 2.40% Native American, 0.80% from other races, and 4.00% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.80% of the population.

There were 46 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.4% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.7% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
