Not really. Although it was only section with out-of-universe information (good enough to stand on its own as a solo article), I only split it to reduce (and cleanup) the Megadeus article.

Merging always leaves behind either a redirect or nothing. If you decide the title Big O (mecha) is an unsuitable redirect after the merger, then it would be deleted for that reason. I'm telling you this is not the place to request a merge. Leebo ^T/C 22:29, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does it leave a redirect if it is just being merged back into the article it came from? This is not really a merge discussion, the article was taken out of Megadeus, and I say put it back and delete it. -The Big X 19:33, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, given the length of the article and the Megadeus article, that the article is well sourced, contains an out-of-universe perspective, and includes a smidgen of real world information about the mecha presence in another franchise, it should be find as a stand alone article. --Farix (Talk) 12:01, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Someguy0830 is right, merging and deleting would violate the terms of the GFDL, which states that all contributions have to be attributed to the user who provided them. Merging and deleting would result in the appareace of said contributions coming from the user who makes the merge rather than the original contributors. Move proposal

The mecha's name is solely "Big O", without "The". When Roger calls it, he says "Big O! Showtime!" (not "The Big O!"). Also, in this image, you can see there is no "The".--Nohansen (talk) 05:34, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:The Big O (megadeus).JPG is being used on this article. Dimensions

The official height of Big-O is supposed to be 30 meters, however this seems to be a conservative estimate on the part of the show's creators as Roger Smith is 2 meters tall. This would make Big-O only 15x taller than Roger which on occassions when he is seen with the machine and not piloting it, it seems Big-O is much more than 15x his height. No figures for Big-O's mass have ever been released to the best of my knowledge.
