Otep (also spelled OTEP or OT3P) is an American nu metal band formed in 2000 in Los Angeles, California by Otep Shamaya. The current touring band is vocalist Otep Shamaya, guitarist Steven Barbola, drummer David Gentry, and bassist "Evil" J. McGuire.
