Leslie Mann (born March 26, 1972)[1] is an American actress.

Mann was born in San Francisco, California, and began her career at the age of 17, with appearances in television commercials. From a field of 500 candidates, Mann was chosen from an open audition for a role in The Cable Guy (1996). She has starred in films such as George of the Jungle, Big Daddy, The 40 Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up. Mann will reunite with her Cable Guy co-star Jim Carrey in the upcoming film I Love You Phillip Morris.[2] Mann is set to star alongside Elizabeth Banks in What Was I Thinking?, based upon the book by Barbara Davilman and Liz Dubelman.[3]

Personal life

Mann is married to writer-director Judd Apatow, with whom she has two daughters, Iris and Maude. She met Apatow on the set of The Cable Guy (1996), which he produced.
