Interstate 505 (I-505) in Oregon was an intended 1.44-mile (2.32 km) freeway spur in northwest Portland that would have connected Interstate 405 with St. Helens Road, U.S. Route 30. This freeway was canceled in 1979 after plans for it were withdrawn, and U.S. Route 30 was realigned along Yeon Avenue in 1988 to alleviate residential congestion. The I-505 interchange, having already been built with the construction of I-405, now serves as a direct connection to U.S. 30.

The realignment of U.S. Route 30 along NW Yeon Avenue, as well as an upgrade to freeway standards for the last mile to the former I-505 interchange, obsoleted the I-505 route. Ghost ramps were left.<ref>Dave Hogan, Interstate 505 (Portland, Oregon), April 29, 2009. I-505's proposed route would have required condemnation and rerouting streets on a swath of land through the Northwest Industrial neighborhood.
