The Murusade (Mursal Waadeerre) clan, alternative called Heridiid, is a subclan of the larger Hawiye clan and one of its four largest sub-clans. Members of this clan reside in the Galguduud region of central Somalia, with a strong concentration in Ceelbuur. Other cities with a notable presence of Murusade clan members include Gal-Hareeri, Wabxo, Derri, Jacar, and Mogadishu, the nation's capital. They also inhabit the Shabeellaha Hoose and Bay regions of southern Somalia. Murusade (Mursal waadeerre) is the descendant of the first son of Hawiye, Karanle clan.
