Starting in 1996 the Sharon Main Street Association has organized an annual "Model A Day", a gathering of [[Ford_Model_A_(1927-1931)|Model A]] collectors and enthusiasts. This event has gained some popularity, drawing over 300 cars each year, due to Sharon's main street retaining an architectural style and charm of past eras.

Sharon is a village in Walworth County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,549 at the 2000 census. The village is located within the Town of Sharon.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.4 km²), all land.

Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 1,549 people, 565 households, and 402 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,699.3 people per square mile (657.2/km²). There were 602 housing units at an average density of 660.4/sq mi (255.4/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 93.35% White, 0.58% Black or African American, 0.45% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 3.62% from other races, and 1.55% from two or more races. 7.30% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 565 households out of which 40.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.3% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.7% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 3.29.

In the village the population was spread out with 31.3% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 31.2% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 8.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 102.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.2 males.
