Evacuate the Dancefloor is the third studio album released by German dance act Cascada. It was released in the United Kingdom on July 6, 2009, a week after the lead single "Evacuate the Dancefloor".
Writing and development
Previews of the album began to appear on Youtube on 23 June. The album has a completely different feel to the previous two. Different basslines and new instrument sounds contrast to the traditional style of Cascada of which was the only styling used in previous songs. In a recent interview with Natalie, she stated that her favourite tracks from the album are "Fever" and "Draw the Line".
Critical reception

Known for the hits 'Everytime We Touch' and 'What Hurts The Most', this latest offering sticks to the successful formula of their two biggest singles. Massive tranceriffs and memorable vocal melodies resound throughout making this Cascada's strongest album to date. Includes the single 'Evacuate The Dancefloor'.[1]
Chart performance
Evacuate the Dancefloor made its chart debut on the Irish Album Chart on July 9, 2009 at number sixteen[2] and the album debuted on the UK Album Chart on July 12, 2009 at number eight.
Singles
- "Evacuate the Dancefloor" was released as the album's first single commercially in Ireland on June 15, 2009 and in the United Kingdom on June 29, 2009 by All Around the World.[3] On July 5, 2009 debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. The song has also peaked at number four in Ireland. The song will be also be released by Cascada's American record label Robbins Entertainment on July 21, 2009.[4]
Promotion
On Thursday 28 May, an album launch party was held in London, where Natalie performed the new single and other tracks Breathless, Draw the Line and Dangerous. "Breathless" and "Dangerous" have a typical hands-up "Cascada style", while "Draw the Line" is a ballad. Natalie will also make appearances in nightclubs across the globe in the next coming months. All appearances will help promote the release of the album Evacuate the Dancefloor. [5]
