Hey jj, I hope all is well in your camp. I added this section for you and I to discuss issues and progress related to your mentorship. I will add the same section on my talk page if you want to post your comments there as well, but it isn't necessary unless you prefer it that way. Right now all is ok. I am hopefully going to be able to carve out a few hours to get some cleanup done today and tomorrow. If I have questions, I will just bring them in here. For the sake of keeping |

Minor league/farm system table formats
Hi, jj37 - I've been contributing to the Major League Baseball clubs' season by season pages, adding farm system information in a simple list format. A user has developed a nice table that makes the data more readable, but unfortunately the new table format is only picking up some of the farm clubs listed (see 1969 Kansas City Royals as an example). It appears to be able to list no more than one farm team at each level and cannot handle the pre-1963, Class D, C, B, etc.
I wonder if you're aware of someone trying to develop a better table. I think the table is better than my simple list, but should not be so rigid as the current table. Also would be good to accommodate an extra column to note league titles, franchise shifts, league and team disbandings, etc.
Thanks. McGill1974 (talk) 19:50, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I don't think I can be of much help; that template is the only one I know of for that purpose, although you could edit it and add the additional parameters in. Alternately, you could add some sort of footnotes or add something below the table to place additional info. JJ (talk) 20:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
