Merge proposal

hi I believe that currently, the TDI episode articles don't match the guideline on episodes, WP:EPISODE. They need to have more than just a plot summary before they can stand on their own. I don't think that they should be merged into one article; the various episode pages like "The Not So Happy Campers" and "Search and Do Not Destroy" have everything needed to have it's own pages. There are many, many other episodes of other television shows that have their own pages like this, and I've read WP:EPISODE. It has more than just a plot summary; what I have down includes cultural references, regular references, how much they scored in votes, as well, I'll be adding more.

Thanks for your reply and your work on the episode articles. I'm still not convinced - the only cultural reference in S&DND is that the title comes from S&D, which hardly needs pointing out, and TNSHC's Chris McClean 'cultural reference' needs a citation (Why Jeff Probst? why not just a general reality TV show host?) and should go in the character list. I don't think the censorship thing on that article is hugely important to the understanding of the show either. I've been looking for sources too, and I've not been finding any, aside from the production blog and more general articles, which I've been using in the main TDI article. "Fake" Episodes

This may be obvious to some, but for others, it is not. Do not post "fake" episodes on Wikipedia. There have been two episodes, "Buns of Steel" and "The Food Chain" which have been posted on. Even if these are real, please add a source as there are no sources saying that those episodes exist. Once the episodes have aired, you can take away the link to the source because we don't need proof that the episode existed. Season 2 Airdates

Well, Oceans Eight or Nine is confirmed as Episode 13 (in Season 2), it's airdate is June 24, 2009 for Canada and September 3, 2009. Also, there is now a dispute on the U.S. airdates. Well, this needs to be resolved for both the episodes article and the characters article as well. It's kind of complicated because each season is treated as a separate series, and thus has different articles. However, the episodes and characters articles are treated as if it talks about just one series.

I think for right now we should keep both articles as is, but maybe change their names in some months down the road. This is both due to the fact that the name Total Drama Island is the name of the first season/series and the fact that it's the name the fans/viewers most identify the franchise with.--Halls452 (talk) 02:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Episode 13 Elimination

I don't know why, but in the episode where Courtney returns, it is said that Owen gets voted off because no votes towards Courtney because of it being her first challenge, and then she decided to vote off owen. why would she do that?! she doesn't hate owen! and he's the most popular character on the show! i suggest that either he doesn't get voted off[ being a non-elimination episode], or he COULD be voted off, but he would return in a later episode due to getting a 2nd chance for not getting the $100,000 last season after trying to find the $1,000,000 in Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island. either way, Owen deserves to get at least 2nd place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Funkyking95 (talk • contribs) 01:53, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Requesting only Estabilished users can edit Total Drama Articles

Every time I go to a Total Drama article, it has some sort of vandalism, from fake episodes and biased statements to explaining the plot of an episode that hasn't even aired yet (and is usually wrong).

Therefore I'm requesting for a semi-protection placed on all total drama articles so that only established users could edit them.

Finished Season

Someone has finished the entire season's episodes in the main TDA article and posted two on this one. I don't believe most of it, because in the end there would be three space episodes (Alien Ressur-eggtion, 2008: A Space Owen, and Space Chimps), three horror episodes (The Sand Witch Project, I Remember What You Did Last Season, and Haunted Mantion), and it would make another title parody of Hook, Line, and Sinker (Hook, Line, and Screamer from season 1 and Hook, Line, and Stinker). Fake Names

Some people keep putting fake US names for TDA episodes, like Buns of Steel (Masters of Disasters) and Saving Private Lindsay (Full Metal Drama). This is all fake!!!
