S.E. Cupp (born as Sarah Elizabeth Cupp on February 23, 1979) is a conservative political commentator and writer, and co-author of the book Why You're Wrong About the Right with Brett Joshpe.

Cupp was born in Carlsbad, California, but raised primarily in Andover, Massachusetts. In 2000, she graduated from Cornell University, with a degree in Art History. While attending Cornell, she worked for her college paper, The Cornell Daily Sun. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in religious studies at New York University.

She is a classically trained ballet dancer and danced for the Ellicott City Ballet, Washington Ballet and Boston Ballet for ten years. [1] In her spare time, she is a hunter and a fan of NASCAR. She is also a self-proclaimed atheist.[2][3]

Journalist and commentator

In 2002, she was hired by the New York Times. She is also a regular contributor to Politico.com's The Arena and a frequent guest of Fox's Hannity, Fox & Friends, Strategy Room and Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. An example comment panel on which she appeared in 2009 was to comment on the White House conflict of interest by Obama advisor David Axelrod regarding Axelrod's expenditure of public funds to benefit a company from which he profits.[4] Her writings have appeared at The Washington Post, Foxnews.com, The American Spectator, Townhall, Newsmax, Human Events, Slate, Maxim, and SI.com.
